You don’t have to avoid Xenoblade for the boobs, you know. You can ignore it for being a mediocre JRPG with an overly self-indulgent plot and terrible voice acting, (I should say I only played Chronicles 2).

edit: in my head, that was more than just a dig on the game, so let me elaborate: there’s no game ever made that is so amazing that you can’t find reasons to boycott it if you genuinely believe it’s a bad game. I waited the year for Satisfactory to come to Steam, and I’ve still never played Gone Home (despite it being critically acclaimed) because I don’t want to support Epic or more messagey walking simulators. (Technically, I do OWN like 4 copies of Gone Home because they give them away free everywhere, but I’m trying, Goddamn it.)

Those EntelechyFuff posts are really baffling when you consider the username is a deep, deep Wizardry 4 monster name error/reference. The biggest monster you can summon is a Demon Lord, and only one at a time(most other monsters you get a squad of). It's labelled a Demon Lord at first in menus, but in combat it's misnamed instead as Entelechy Fuff. I find it hard to believe that anyone named after this obscure beast is anything but a troll considering the obscurity and impenetrability of the game. Irrational as grognards are, anyone willing to work their way up to the Cosmic Cube portion of the game ought to not be triggered by boobies.

Yeah, there's nothing wrong with Gone Home as a game. The media hype around Gone Home was preposterous and the developer's own marketing could have stood to be more honest about what it is and isn't. But divorced from all the hoopla that blew up around it, perfectly fine little diversion.
