I found at a thrift store a copy of the AIR movie and decided to buy it since I remembered liking the movie better than the TV show. I went ahead to watch it dubbed tonight, and I can see why people thought Monica did well as Misuzu, she was at her most tolerable and quiet, but she could've sounded cuter tbh. Vic as Yukito was great, and I didn't realize that was Luci Christian as Haruko until the credits, I was trying to figure out who she was, she sounded so different compared to her other roles. Seriously, Luci has an amazing range.
Anyway, the credits rolled while I sat there realizing I didn't really care for the movie all that much, either, but it's still better than the TV series. Had its moments. But then the copyright came up at the end, and the ADV dub was done in 2007 (the film was released in December of that year, but I assume they do the dub a few months before release). And in this movie, Misuzu is a bit more... forward with Yukito than in the TV series.

I'll have my doubts until I see it. Plus, I also don't believe ron made any report outside of twitter, which is why I don't think anyone apologized cause someone like ron would be blasting it all over twitter.

Funny story: The day after Nick drunk yelled at me on his show, there was this one retard on Twitter that thought Ron was gonna contact me and we were gonna be besties. Because... uhhh... not being e-friends with Nick means you're automatically KickVic... I guess???
The very thought might be the single most insulting thing anybody has ever said about me in my entire life. I would demand a retraction, or a pistol duel, but for the fact either they or the Tweet got yeeted sometime between now and then.

That’s ok. Everytime I go on a show and don’t make 100% rainbows and sunshine comments about Vic he suddenly gets a deluge of emails from “fans” telling him what I said and saying they thought we were friends and such. Because these people can’t fathom the idea that you might... you know... not 100% like a person. Friendship does not equal blind adoration.

Well, hypothetically speaking, if I could have controlled my gag reflex long enough, and was a complete fucking idiot... maybe I could have run stuff for Ron. I doubt it would have been very well received here, and I probably would have eaten a ban from emspex for the same reason Joseph did. Ron was designated a cow pretty much from day one of WW. It would have made more sense to run that shit to PULL, probably.
I sincerely doubt I could have done it after seeing the dox Joseph dropped though. I grew up in a household that had its share of domestic violence. I have no stomach for it. It really says a lot about KV if most of them didn't punch Ron's ticket after we all found out the type of person he really is.
When this all started, Ron was a cuck. Lame, but all talk. He's still a cuck, but he's also been exposed as a violent hypocrite too.
The part in the HEJAS stream where JMK talks about Joseph, Ron, and the Farms, starts at about 2:48:00.
This was after Spectre completely botched the whole thing about JMK being a pedo, and ate shit for it. After that, it looked as if JMK might have carried the day. Remarkably, John completely jumps the rails and explodes into a fireball anyways, by trying to refute the shit on Ron... of all people. Even with a marginal victory under his belt, JMK still fucks shit up.
He says that Joseph "went to all these places trying to get intel on Ron." That is an extremely autistic way of putting it, if not outright misleading.
Joseph went to the Tarrant County Clerk's office, and paid the records fees for the civil case files on Ron. That ain't even typical KiwiFarms doxing. That's just paying for a service a state government is already legally obligated to provide. Had he stopped there, the guy would be regarded as a hero, and not a sped. We could have taken up a collection to reimburse him for the hundreds of dollars he spent.

The drama last month between Nick and myself wasn't the first time I have disagreed with him. It was just the terminal time. There's old ass posts of me, here on KF (you can search for 'em), opining that pushing Vic to go to Anime Matsuri has some definite downsides. Unlike Vic, I think the evidence is actually pretty strong John Leigh is a creep. I still believe that. Nick doesn't. That's fine.
In the end though, if you're too chickenshit to open your mouth when you have a dissenting opinion, you're basically Gator. Don't be Gator. Nothing is more beta.
