U.S. Riots of May 2020 over George Floyd and others - ITT: a bunch of faggots butthurt about worthless internet stickers

People who hate cops often have a reason for it that has absolutely nothing to do with "justice." They're criminals, and they hate people who punish them for committing crimes.
Or they're taught it. How many times in the past few months have we seen video of someone trotting their kid up to a riot and telling them that the police are the racist devils trying to kill them?

Some parents want their children to do better than they did in life. It sure seems like ghetto rats want to make sure their children NEVER get out.

SEATTLE — The Seattle City Council is considering new legislation that would create a legal loophole that would made substance addiction, mental illness or poverty a valid legal defense for nearly all misdemeanor crimes committed in the city.

The council's consideration of the plan has been largely shielded from public view and there has been virtually no public discussion about the proposal. Scott Lindsay, the former public safety advisor for the city, said Seattle would be in a class of its own if it ultimately enacted the ordinance.

"I'm not aware of any legislation like this anywhere in the United States (or) even globally," he said Monday. "All cities have criminal codes to protect their citizens from criminal acts. This would essentially create a legal loophole that swallows all those codes and creates a green light for crime."

The legislation was proposed by Seattle City Councilwoman Lisa Herbold last Wednesday.

The proposal would allow for the dismissal of crimes of poverty and it would do so by revising the definition of duress as a defense against prosecution.

Seattle police currently make about 12,000 arrests every year that are not DUI offenses or related to domestic violence. In 2019, charges were filed for just over 5,400 misdemeanor cases, not including DUI charges or domestic abuse allegations.

If approved, the ordinance would excuse and dismiss -- essentially legalizing -- almost all misdemeanor crimes committed in Seattle by offenders who could show either:

  • Symptoms of addiction without being required to provide a medical diagnosis;
  • Symptoms of a mental disorder; or
  • Poverty and the crime was committed to meet an "immediate and basic need." For example, if a defendant argued they stole merchandise to sell for cash in order to purchase food, clothes or was trying to scrape together enough money for rent. The accused could not be convicted.
"If you don't feel very protected right now, this would wipe out almost all remaining protections that we have," Lindsay said.

The offenses that would be covered by the Seattle ordinance would include just about any crime below the level of a felony while excluding charges of driving under the influence or domestic violence...

Although the measure could radically alter the way Seattle levies charges in criminal court, there have been no public hearings about it and it has not been discussed so far by the council's Public Safety Committee...

I don't know how the legalities of this would work and if some commie city council can so easily obliterate state statutes by redefining 'duress' for prosecutions but the fact that they're even considering this nonsense...

Looks like Seattle wants to give 1970s New York City a run for its money.

I saw that when it came out. While it wasn't a focal point of that documentary, if I recall correctly there was a part where a long time cop tried to clean up some trash in a neighborhood that druggies had left all around. The dude got formally reprimanded for who the fuck knows why, and that made him decide to go ahead and just retire. If that sort of thing is common then cities like that are going to get far worse in the next few years because no one is going to want to be a cop there. Typically as a job becomes less and less desirable, the employer has to pay more and more to get people to do it or hire more and more undesirable people.

Damn California in general can't catch a break it seems. Ballot boxes on fire, 90,000+ forced to flee their homes from an ongoing fire, thousands of people have lost power, shit's fucked.
it's not a matter of not catching a break, it's a matter of being run by fucking retards. there's poor fire management and eucalyptus everywhere, which reproduce by catching fire and exploding, and there's no power because they're decommissioning normal power plants for solar and wind, which don't have consistent output.

So every time a nigger gets shot by the cops, they declare open season to burn down there citys ? And this only occurs in Democrat strongholds cities.
Sound like a problem solving its self. Still though this is going to spread and keep happening till its meet with force and the people enabling it are met with justice. Till then its riot season
*Puts on tin foil hat*
I think this year things are particularly extreme because it is a census year. We know some of these riots have external controllers who are pushing it.

Seems that the majority of people responded by April 1st 2020. Or at least where they were living by April 1st.

Floyd riots kicked off in May. We start seeing mass flight from urban centers. De Blasio and other Democrats start buying up property to keep out "undesirables" (I.E Republicans.)

Unless these people fleeing the cities somehow updated the census information, Democratic cities will still get the count for population for people no longer living there. But these people fled to republican strongholds forcing the area purple.

Democrats keep their "locked in" seats while forcing Republican areas into competition.

*Takes off tinfoil hat*

That is the best I can figure.

Getting really sick of how this shit is getting reported on. the fact the news plays along with their whiny victim narrative is sickening "white police officer shoots mentally ill black man" when in that case the guy had a knife and they give no context. Clearly not biased at all.
And then they have the gall to say the media is always on the side of white people. I've never seen the media scorn a black suspect, but every crime a white person does to a black person, no matter how benign, the skin color is always reported numerous times throughout the article.

How long until Philly joins the list of cities fucked with a capital F?
It is 45% black. It earned its capital F about 25% ago.

Here is an interesting tweet from a reports

It didn't have to be this way... it really really didn't...
Imagine reporting that as if its something new or novel. Welcome to the ghetto wonderland that has been the norm in black-inhabited America since always.

“So in one of her first official actions as top cop, Outlaw changed the rule to allow for more stylish nails,” one commenter said.
We are already living in hell.

No link, but apparently there's a standoff right now at a DC cop shop. Story is that guy was riding a moped and wasn't wearing a helmet. Cops tried to stop him and instead of stopping he tried to get away and ran into a car and got hissef dead. Local duskies blame the cops.
I think helmet laws are stupid (for adults), but I call what happened a self correcting problem.
Could it really be called a race war if there's people of all races on both sides? Antifa is mostly White.
Don't let something silly like facts get in the way of a good race war!

That is not the full story, PG&E in the name of "preventing fires" (because they are too cheap/lazy/stupid to update their power gird to deal with Santa Ana winds) are intentionally causing brown/black outs. Only issue is PG&E lines are still the cases of fires and power on or off PG&E has caused deaths (they don't give people advance warnings causing people who have medical devices that need power for them to live to die because they couldn't prepare).

I forget which thread it was but there was one on here where a mob of BLM fuckers break onto this couples property threaten to burn their house down and such after smashing the gate in and they pull guns to scare them off the property. The headline makes sure to mention that they're white and the value of their house and the fact they pulled guns on black people, not the fact that those black people smashed their gate in and were making threats on their doorstep to provoke that in the first place.

Seeing white people supporting BLM is like seeing jewish nazis. Like they think that helping them out makes up for the atrocious sin of being white in their eyes and they totally wouldnt turn on them the second they've outlived their usefulness

Wallace was an aspiring rapper with social media accounts filled with videos. Guns are a central theme as he rhymes about shooting people, including police.

In 2017, he pled guilty to robbery, assault, and possessing an instrument of crime after kicking down the door of another woman and putting a gun to her head.

Fucking hell, this is why Philly is burning right now? Because of low life scum like this? He's on fucking video charging at the cops with a knife.

So this is the new normal now? Everytime a black criminal gets killed by the cops on video the city is going to get burned and looted?

Looks like it. And they have media, politicians, and PR on their side.

And they don't blink an eye when a black man is killed by an other black man.

Enjoying the New Normal goy?
It'll likely be like this until after the election regardless who wins. Both sides will want to clamp down on it. One wanting to pull back their swartzgolems and the other doing it to keep the peace.

According to one of the pollsters I follow (People's Pundit Daily), it is actually the exodus of *conservatives* from California, etc which is helping offset the total blueing of neighboring states from immigration etc. So who knows. But the trend is def to scale down a peg regardless of political affiliation (LA->Austin, Austin->Small Town USA, Small Town USA->Hillbilly Woods)

In other news, there was some incident between a black security guard and seattle protestors who were lighting candles in the name of miscreants on the street.

https://m.twitch.tv/videos/784189174 starting around 1:33ish goes from

pretty quick. Only the tail-end of the incident was really caught with audio on woke's stream, so went to the original source

edit: Sorry for not extracting the 10mins or so, but this really encapsulates everything about the summer movements:
* late night protesting in Seattle for a criminal they don't know personally
* taking up a street
* 'eat the rich' graffiti
* non-woke black guy confronting woke mob
* mob getting stomped
* histrionics
* apathetic cops who are simultaneously being asked to help and being shit on for not helping
* more histrionics
* why the fuck am i not sleeping....... but seriously this shit is gold
