Porn in general is in the toilet. Thanks to the iron grip MindGeek has on the porn streaming market, there’s probably more money in prostitution than porn at this point. It’s why every porn star escorts. You could argue that porn these days is little more than an ad for escort services.
Thats pretty accurate, on the other hand the internet in general is monopolized as fuck. If mainstream shit cant compete why would porn be able to? YouTube still hasn't made a profit either.

Vicki Chase was a teller/worked for Chase Bank (hint, it helped her porn name). It definitely is odd seeing some of these professional women who are not just using the "I can't get a job/need to pay my tuition" excuse, but were people with legitimately good positions who decided to quit those jobs and take one that reduces your social standing to bottom tier, even after you leave.
There's a self destructive motivation at work I think. A few years back read a story about an Officer in the USN who worked as a prostitue. A not particularly attractrive woman who for some reason felt compelled to burn her life down for no discernable reason.
There was documentary made a few years back called pornocracy (it's free on Amazon prime). That stated that Mindgeek didn't make money, that the German (also one of trumps chosen people) that set it up has never explained where the initial funding came from. Also because Mindgeek is a private company they don't have to release info like a publically listed one would.
The last two pages outline why female agency is a mistake.
Food for thought. During one of the many wars Isreal fought with its neighbors when they took over a city/country w/e it was one of the first things they did was take over the television stations and blast pornography on every channel but one.
First time I heard about Vicky Chase being a swinger (though not surprising) and her husband an heroing himself. Looked up Veruca James' background as well since she was mentioned in above comments. Born to a single mother, made it into the banking/auditing world young with two degrees and professional qualifications. Utterly miserable as a bank auditor dealing with red tape, working long hours, being burnt out as another cog in the banking machine and being told she could "retire by 40". Ended up running a double life to wind down, going to sex parties, public sex etc. Had friends who were in the porn business who she would hook up with (not on camera) before making the jump and turning it into a career because she was burnt out.

Honestly, whenever a pornstar falls off the map, part of me wishes I never have to hear about them again.
This is interesting, I just watched a few of her cooking streams (which are quite well produced) and she seems to make a conscious effort not to act like a Thot. She dresses well but not revealingly wants to engage with viewers but only about what she's doing in the video.
But why would they do that?
there should just be a blanket ban on porn actors over 50. it would force them to figure out what to do with the test of their lives, plus most 50+ men aren't going to conform to the latest standards of women

Well she's done it all, she's got nothing to prove unlike the other titty streamers. So she can now fall back to her normal self, even if she has the charm of a broomstick.
Technically if she's up to date with law and licences, should be able to. Whether any firm will take her, or anyone would run to her if she's a one woman show with her background is another matter.
