Right, I think this is more interesting that we are given it credit for. Either the father is more subtle about his hate of non-Muslims or he just doesn't want problems. They are motivated by the 72 virgins in the afterlife more so than they are Allah and spreading Islam, though Allah is still a factor. It it easier for these guys to be convinced than it is to convince the married father, married grandfather, etc. This would account for why most of them are young unmarried men.
