Well, the deed is done. Thanks to early voting, today for the first time in my short life I voted hard R. No line and it took less than 15 minutes total - maybe because I'm white? Hopefully I helped keep FL Red this election, and a big fuck you to anyone who said that when I moved I would bring Blue NYC politics down South. Being in a swing state made my vote feel like it mattered a lot more than NYC and I took it much more seriously than when I voted in previous presidential elections. It felt very strange filling in the bubble for Trump, as this time last year I would have slapped myself for even considering it. It's been posted in this thread before, but my current mindset is absolutely this meme.

I know the results aren't going to be all in by next week, but I can't wait to see how it all turns out. If When Trump wins, don't forget to put me on the phone tree for the Right Wing Death Squads, okay boys?

Low key, the whole "I bet you will vote for the same cancer that killed the State you fled from" is a massive shit test; Congrats on passing it with flying colors.

It's to thunk-provoke people into considering what turned their area into a shithole.

I remember back in 2016 I didn't really follow as they were counting which state went to who, only really saw the proverbial salt geyser upon checking the morning after, might go about it the same way this time as well. I'd be sad if Trump lost since I don't believe the Dems or their supporters should be rewarded for their four year tantrum, but I'm also not going to get super emotional if he does lose.

Mainly, I just don't want to go full Doomer over something I have zero control over and what will unlikely impact my daily life, outside the tank in my mental state should Trump win and those suffering TDS around me don't take it well. Wouldn't even say I'm trying to be positive, more just entertaining a form of Zen mentality where whatever happens will happen.

Getting real paranoid about Drumpf's chances in Minnesota...

Put it in on blast that he was gonna flip it...might be wrong. I know there's a lot of far-lefties in Minnesota who want to tear down the police system and all that jazz, but I was really thinking Drumpf was gonna flip it because of the Iron Range shit and stuff. Ah well, it looks like he's got the other two states in the Rust Belt and it seems like he's got most of the swing states, but Arizona looks like a fucking tossup, lmao.
Minnesota was always going to be a long shot. I think Virginia would go red before MN, neither of which I'm counting on this election. Ohio is Trump's and so is Florida. Arizona is also probably going Trump. The ones to watch are Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, and Michigan.

You're cool, you can stay. For now.

But when the boogaloo kicks off, you better shoulder an AR and fly the stars 'n' bars, yankee.

This carpetbagging fuck had best strap on a saber and put some Tennessee Ernie Ford in his playlist, we're going old school.

A bigger issue in Dixie is white trash yanks moving down here because it's cheaper and bringing their crime and drugs with them, not necessarily Californians or whatever coming over to vote for commies.

I live in a small town and we have a few trailer parks. Some decent, some not. I'm told by my cop friend that you would swear you're in Illinois when you go in some of them.

Virginia includes the DC metro, right? Minnesota has a much better chance of flipping than Virginia, if so. The only deep blue areas in Minnesota at this point are Minneapolis and St. Paul. Not even the suburbs are deep blue and if the trend of leaning right continues in the suburbs, Minnesota will be a true swing state in the future.

Barring some sort of miracle Virginia is doomed to go California style deep blue at this point. Its future is going to be rural red counties dominated by Northern Virginia and the coastal cities while as you said MN could potentially go purple. They might get a Republican governor still if Northam makes himself hated enough but they'll be an Arnie-style 'Republican'.
