Seeing as how primaris didnt cure any mutations the new primaris Lamenters are in for a ride........
Also this is scary close to my Priamris Blood Raven list im making. I have 6 Outriders + Chaplain I planned on running them as White Scar Successors since ol Gabe things he has some of the Khans Blood now.

Out of all the things to get bent out of shape over, the "Blood Ravens are loyalist Thousand Sons" theory is a really bizarre thing get assblasted over.
The only other person I know who would get this anal about something like this is Joe Quesada (damned be his name).

Revealing that the BR are loyalist TSons would be one hell of a revelation, make a great deal of sense, and set up a very fun three-way rivalry with them, Spess Wolves, and the TSons themselves. Obviously since it would be fun and well-received by people it will not be happening.

It’s my thing but throughout the years the Blood Ravens would adopt combat styles of supposed parent chapters. It’s mostly from that really dumb fluff on relics in DoW 2.

I barely follow the expanded fluff, but from what I hear from the /tg/ threads now and again, ADB does that every single time any cool shit happens to any CSM chapter that isn't one of his little precious widdle kool kaos speec mahweens OWIGINAL KONENT DONUT STEEL or what have you. There are no CSM Loyalists, they're ALL super kool KAOS worshipers because being a Loyalist Space Marine is totes lame and shit and everyone not KAOS is doomed to fucking looze especially people who follow the Emperor of FUCK YOU DAD. Or somesuch.
(But then again, a lot of the new Primaris chapters are blatantly based on Traitor Legions, so... maybe he doesn't have as good a grip on things as they say.)
I'd pull up more detail but because ADB loves shoving sassy brown chicks in his books and posted some TOTES HAPPENED GAIZ rants about evil alt-righters bitching about him shoving sassy brown chicks in his books on Facebook his 1d4chan page is pretty pozzed. Last I heard of him he was still fucking assmad that someone in GW leadership slapped him down because he wanted to include a sassy brown Custodes chick who don't need no Emperor and was told that no, he's not allowed to do that.
It was absolutely 100% hinted at in every single bit of fluff about them until ADB decided that nope, Loyalists aren't allowed to be cool or interesting, so he tried to retcon it away. Which failed, because fuck ADB.
Ah, most people take the DOW2 relics thing to imply the Blood Ravens do a lot of less-than-ethical battlefield scavenging, if not have an outright geneseed flaw that makes them kleptomaniacs.
My own Outriders and Chaplain on a Bike (hoping for a Captain on a Bike too soon) are going to be Blood Ravens riding bikes from other chapters, including White Scars. I.e., stolen bikes.

Yeah, looks like ADB is a major cause of problems. And as to the Blood Rehvens magpie-like tendencies, I already suggested earlier in this thread that someone get a Bjorn model and give him a half-assed red paint job over his Spess Wolf grey and strip off all the wolf shit.

Hey, that's right -- the White Dwarf thing on the Blood Ravens had some mention of a fortress or tower that they hid warp abominations in. That... is the Flesh Change, isn't it? Doesn't seem to affect them as badly as the Thousand Sons, though.
Is that a recaster, or is GW printing this model on demand?

The model isn’t supposed to be available for purchase until tomorrow and the site is a legit seller from what I checked. Unless GW told the 3rd party sellers something and they’ve updated their site early but I guess we won’t find anything out until tomorrow.

Basically they are Sons of Magnus but GW will never confirm it. I hear people say the Blood Ravens being loyal traitors makes him mad since he didn’t think of the idea first or his Chaos boner of “WRF WHY WOULD THOUSAND SONS STILL STAY LOYAL REEE CHAOS BETTER”

Out of all of the criticism of ADB I have never heard of this one suggesting that he is against marines from traitor legions staying loyal. Now if it was a post-heresy chaos marine that suddenly had regrets, he'd probably have the guy executed by Imperials, because at that point, chaos marines are too far damned to be redeemed.
But to add an opinion on the Blood Ravens, while I believe that Blood Ravens are descended from Thousand Sons, it is also really fucking obvious. What if they were descended from the 2nd or 11th legions? That would be a curveball and possibly explain why the Blood Ravens thirst for knowledge. Maybe one of the Lost Primarchs was a knowledge seeker and found something man was not meant to know?
