The problem is that it's so fucking trivial for them to let us verify the authenticity of the emails. It's been insane for them to not just release it. The narrative has already changed from "the laptop isn't real" to "ok, the laptop is real but *that* bit is totally faked!"

Having the specific emails that the Post included in their original story verified would be huge, and I cannot for the life of me understand why they haven't at least made those publicly available for download so that people could check for themselves.

I don't think anyone is having their opinion changed by having the verification now after a couple lack luster statements from the Biden campaign. If the verified emails aren't enough, then verified emails plus some proven false press statement from Joe won't be enough either.
