Chris Ray Gun was just visiting family in New York and said that he was planning on buying property there and how he was playing Life is Strange 2 "with a female" at the female's suggestion on a podcast I think at the same time he was there which was not long after the podcast with shoe
"With a female"? That is the spergiest fucking ....it almost makes me think it's a troon rather than June. No reason to call a real girl "female".

"I am in New York, I am with a female here, and I was looking for stuff to play that you know, wouldn't put me at a strange, in a strange position where I am just sort of playing something that is beyond comprehension and she's sort of just like baffled by what she's looking at. So I think she brought up "oh we should play Life is Strange 2 and see if you hurt anybody""

...Is he? I know when Alex Jones got banned from everything he didn't just go "private company l o l" he acknowledged that yeah it's within their rights but it's kind of concerning how much power these companies have over the ability to communicate nowadays.
Yes, he totally is a piece of shit.

During the whole "Steven Crowder vs Vox" thing, Chris Ray Gun was on the side of YouTube for demonitizing Crowder. The manlet justified this by saying that Crowder's jokes are "mean," so it's okay for him to get deplatformed. He then said something to the effect of "Deplatform and demonitize HIM, though ... Not me!"

Really rich calling someone else's jokes offensive when he literally made a music video about killing himself via drinking bleach. I believe even the lyrics in that video said "kill yourself!"

(I remember the music video being funny, though. I'm just calling out the hypocrisy.)

I think Chris Ray Gun got Fantano'd. He hasn't gone full commie like shoe but he does seem to be trying to avoid offending liberals. I was looking through his videos and he hasn't made a video about social justice shit all year. The closest he got was when he made a video about that psycho twitch mod tranny that thinks they're a deer. Now at the end of July last year him and Colin Moriarty (who he does a podcast with) got their PAX panel cancelled because they're "controversial figures". He didn't really avoid social justice topics for the rest of that year but now I'm wondering if he's trying to avoid controversial topics because he's scared of getting cancelled.

Ray Gun values his e-celeb status tremendously and if anti-SJW content became half as popular as it was back in "the glory days" he'd be cranking out those faggy song parodies like a machine.

Do you have links to anything where he talks about this? I don't think he ever mentioned it in a video and I don't remember what he said about it. With a lazy google I did find these two tweets where he's definitely not on the side of vox.

Tweet 1, Tweet 2

Didn't say he defended Vox, but he certainly threw Crowder under the bus.

His "stance" throughout the ordeal was "Yeah I get it: Crowder is offensive, so it's okay for HIM to get the boot ... But this had better not screw me over as a content creator as well."

I wish I had the tweets on me, but I do not, and I don't care to look for them. lol. Feel free to say I'm BSing, but I remember that he and Shoe had a circlejerk about how the Crowder "Socialism is for Figs" merch is the most offensive and meany-poo thing ever (ah, ignorance of history is great).

Oh well if June was shitting on Crowder then I believe it. He tends to join in with whatever retarded shit she says.

crowder is low-hanging fruit for grifters, tbh, because he over-exaggerates a lot and is bullheaded. i think they might also have a bit of a hateboner for him because he still gets to profit off anti-sjw shit. kind of like how ex-edgy youtubers hated leafy's return because leafy didn't bend the knee the way they did.

It's truly bizarre to me that somebody can support free speech and spend time standing up against people who want to chill and curtail other people's right to speak freely, and then say "well i mean it makes sense because he's an edgy boi so I think he's an exception".

You can really only trust free speech absolutists.

If we don't do a fuller "Former Skeptics" thread, CRG seems like he's got enough for one all to himself at this point.

I think this picture sums up Shoe's current path.

She'd be better off doing the Tim Pool/Justin Murphy/Angela Nagle style of Anti-woke leftism, rather than Vaush's fake version.

LIS2 is garbage, and doesn't have the charm of the 1st game that made it worth playing.

I looked up the dates and the Alex Jones thing was back in 2018, versus Steven Crowder being demonetized happened in 2019. The change with Chris has been gradual, but he's pretty much converted completely into an asshole over the past few years.

Feel like this coincides with the timing of some other e-celebs that switched to pandering to the breadtube audiences.

If you want to take a trip down memory lane to that time period (bonus vaush & bunty hostility): https://tw.tinf.io/search?q=(from:chrisrgun) until:2019-06-06 since:2019-06-01

Chris deleted more than one tweet about it though, and I don't remember what he said.

January 2020: https://tw.tinf.io/ChrisRGun/status/1213321815252226048
These tweets are a good reminder that he genuinely hates the people who call him alt-right. Even if he's trying to avoid pissing off lefties I can't see him going full grifter like shuwu

Because the majority of these 'Skeptic free speech lovers' were only thinking about the type of speech they like getting censored. Think Christians going after atheists & video games, and blue-haired tumblrinas trying to shut down people bashing them. They sure as hell weren't talking about people against gay marriage or anything like that, because it largely seemed inconceivable that people like that would be getting censored to begin with at the time.

But times changed, and now these people are exposed as cowards who never believed in what they were saying for years. All the "I love free speech" talk was nothing but smoke and mirrors to their audience of paypiggies who'd happily reward them with $$, which is why they're now going after the new market of mentally unstable Breadtube troons instead of continuing down the old road.

Those who advocate for free speech always seemed to have limits, they just wanted what their speech to be the accepted norm. Did the Berkeley free speech people want pro Vietnam War talk on campus? No. Did the right want porn? No. The video game and metal and rap music was a combination of Christians and Karens on both political spectrums. The political correct speech of the 90's was mostly from the left. There are waves of this kind of thing, and we are in another one. Everyone just wants their side to be dominant.

The Skeptics were atheists, anti-SJW. Did they want theists to have free speech? No, they called them idiots and brain washing people. Did they want SJW's to have free speech? Absolutely not. They were all just leftists who wanted to make it big on Youtube, get lots of views and cash, and anti-SJW was the way to do it. They just wanted degeneracy to be allowed in their media and to get fame and money. It's as simple as that.
