If this pans out, I hope this means a longer-term demographic focus and realignment for the Republicans. While reducing immigration helps, it's far too late to stop many of these changes- best they can do is to get in front of them.
The focus must be in dismantling the Democrat's 'minority-friendly' image, as well as reducing public school indoctrination (for instance, I actually read that the primary reason for Texas's purpling is moreso due to the new-voter demographic than from cross-state migration).
