He has been quietly disposed of, likely quietly reported to the feds by his domain holder and cut off from online access as the site is slowly cleaned up and likely to dismantle by March 2021
 
I don't get why anyone would buy OneAngryGamer, you'd think the name would be utter poison to investors. Is this "Karolis" person part of some group that buys up whatever they can on the internet to run ads/paid promotion? That's probably the only sort of group that would be interested in buying an irrelevant trash heap like OAG.

They say any press is good press, and OneAngryGamer has made a name for itself, if even for all the wrong reasons. Billy couldn't have sold it for very much, so there's not a lot of startup cash involved, if any. You start with your brand already known, rather than having to build it from scratch. Old twitter links someone might stumble upon (particularly from the time everyone was talking about his traitors of america list) can bring you to new content, and if people see something they like on a freshly minted front page that's more appealing to a wider audience than the 5 or 6 previous diehard fans who seem to just enjoy the old trash fire that smells like rat piss, they might just stay and the new owners might just have a shot at building a new demographic.

Its about visibility, and OneAngryGamer already had that. Investing in it is a gamble, but what business venture isn't? Long as the new management wasn't drinking paint and got it cheap enough to balance the risk of loss of investment versus growth potential, its not the absolute worst opportunity out there. Look at all the other startup shit that's out there.
