First of all cleaning the computer does nothing, those programs are a scam and who turns off their computers? Guess when 99% of issues occur, oh right - at boot. More likely he's just lying cause he read the comments on here about how people are gonna snipe him and ruin it for him. TF2 takes no effort whatsoever to play.

But as usual the main issue with the 'holiday marathon' streams remain - they're not marathons and follow the exact same schedule and minutes of gameplay as any other day... Someone should report him for false advertisement.

For the record I do know a fair amount about computers. More than anyone you'll ever find in a Steam community comments section anyway, but sometimes we're all a little retunto.

My 2007 machine is still used every day with minimal upgrades. Still rocking the Q6600; one of the best processors ever made. Would devour TF2 if it wasn't so shit I refuse to ever play it. I dust the rig out once a month, pull the CPU fan, blow out the heatsink and graphics card. 5 minutes and a lot of coughing. Problem is it kept getting dust build up which I put down to living in a dusty place.

The front of the case where the fans are is a pain to get to and it has dust catchers on. Never bothered to clean there. Obviously the dust catchers don't stop dust, they minimise. So a metric fuck-ton of dust was building up around the front fans for over a decade. I'd like to blame it on the place that sold me the case, the guy who designed the case in china or say it's someone else's machine... but sometimes you've got to deep-throat a slice of retard cake. After removing 13 years worth of dust build up there has been significantly less dust overall and it's back to running low 30's under load.

Software cleaning is a waste of time, hardware cleaning saves marriages. I hope DSP's maid went to a good dusting school...

God forbid streaming takes a modicum of effort or challenges even entry-level technical skills. As in problems solved 50 times over that just require 5 minutes and a google search.

He can dress this up however he wants, but he obviously has below-average understanding of the tools that are expected of his job (not vests currently heaped on the floor; the actual tools), and he favors consoles because he is lazy and doesn't want to invest effort. If PC gaming is unreliable, what are all his peers doing on Twitch? The literal thousands that stream from PCs daily.

So is that what he was going to say or Boeing or Microsoft when they hired him? "I like to avoid PC's as much as possible. They're unreliable. Did I mention I have continuous improvement certification?"

I'm leaning towards lying myself, if for no other reason than I have a hard time imagining Phil actually took the time to install/try the game out before his stream. When was the last time Phil actually did that? Phil is pretty open about how much he dislikes streaming on PC, not to mention how weird he can be with playing multiplayer games. I don't think it is a stretch to say he's looking for an excuse not to play TF2.

Absolutely ideal for DSP. Less time playing games but more time getting money as people tip/cheer him on what to do.

Either he never cleans his pc like using ccleaner or other system cleaning software. Or he is stupid and just needs to update his settings and some drivers. Or he is lying because switching to PC is too much work and made a bs excuse.

He is probably lying because if my shitty $500 pc that is the same age as his pc can run Fallout New Vegas with mods and TF2 at high settings with OBS on then his $3k lemon should be able too with no problem. Wait Phil is dumb and cant even hang a fuckin HOOK to the wall

It's hilarious that his few remaining legitimate fans still believe that maybe, somehow, Phil will pluck up the courage to play games with other people again! The guy is a total coward and is terrified of interacting with even his most genuine fans, because it would involve placing himself into a situation over which he does not have complete control. We've seen time and time again that he runs from even a hint of confrontation with others, and this year is no different.

Phil, if you were a pro streamer, you would play SFV and at least try to make it entertaining through raging at your opponents, because that is what your viewers want to see. Then you would cap off the halloween stream with several games of Among Us, where your retarded fans would carry your uncharismatic ass through goofy situations and hijinks, because that's also what your viewers want to see. But no, I guess they'll just be in for another snoozefest begathon. Maybe when you're in your 50s, you and your 2 remaining fans can look back on this during a retrospective and laugh.
