Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

They are doing the same thing they did in 2016 with Florida and spiking the ball to depress turnout.

Edit: Yes this is from a meme video gloating about how smug the media was before Trump won, but point still stands.

Greatest part is that they are only preaching to mostly an echo chamber, so it might actually depress their turnout instead. Galaxy brain play.

I thought that Republicans were ahead or tied in the early voting there?

I don't know how the numbers compare to 2016, but I don't know why they're so confident.

We don't have enough Muslims in the country for them to be a useful voting bloc anywhere outside of a few districts in Midwestern cities. The party will embrace Catholic social politics before Muslim ones, because they're utterly tied to the idea that the Latino vote is their ticket to one party rule.

Two problems:

1. ) The majority of 'Catholics' these days are cultural Catholics. They will not put their lives on the line when push comes to shove.
2.) Muslims' current minority status gives them a few notches higher on the oppression hierarchy, as they are not numerous enough to truly create enclaves. Furthermore, 'organizations' like CAIR (created by the educated moderates) are there to advocate for them as well.
