I think it's more that the BBC has to maintain an air of neutrality than that they are actually neutral. The open partisanship of the BBC on this troon shit has been an increasing embarrassment. Also, possibly, some more shit on Mermaids is about to come out.

Well it's been said before but ResetEra doesn't really play video games anyway.
Okay so One Piece has a lot of gay and trans characters but like a great many things in One Piece they are portrayed as a cartoonish joke while also often being portrayed as positive characters. There's Mr.2 Bon Clay who can transform into other people and prances around in a ballet outfit covered in swans and is super gay but also becomes an ally of Luffy. There's Emporio Ivankov who is literally based on Dr.Frankenfurter from The Rocky Horror Picture Show and has the ability to control people's hormones and pretty much has an entire fanclub of trannies following him around and even changes his own sex once or twice. He also becomes an ally of Luffy. Then there was an ENTIRE ISLAND of crossdressing men which Sanji trained on and also became a base of operation for Luffy and his allies. I also remember a giant hairy bearded man in a short skirt referring to himself as a girl and calling anyone who stared at him a chaser basically (that one might have been waaay too on the nose).
Where was this a few years ago when the BBC were saying that Britain has no culture and everything they have was stolen from other nations, or making The Doctor (Dr Who) a gay woman? Oh, that's right. You were all for it back then because it was your side of the argument. Now there's a real threat of the BBC being defunded, they're easing back on that stuff ever so slightly, and yet that's too much for ResetEra.
The UK seems to be fairly resistant to troon stuff, at least compared to the US and Canada. Nobody buys it, no matter how much the media push it.
As much as I hate to reach for the lazy "projection" argument, it really does seem to be a theme. Especially on ResetEra.
Well let's be fair here, the government of the UK is still cucked in many ways anyway.
