US Joe Biden News Megathread - The Other Biden Derangement Syndrome Thread (with a side order of Fauci Derangement Syndrome)

Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

The Democrats have adopted a federalization strategy where any Democrat, whether rural or urban will for example toe the same line on gun control. A case in point is Vermont which has no history of "mass shootings" and yet adopted laws similar to other Democrat states like Colorado or California.

Republicans are far behind on that strategy but thanks for Trump are catching up now.

But now its a urban vs rural divide rather than Blue vs Red states or whites vs niggers.
This is mostly done through bullying and ignoring actual voters. They actually aren't lock step with anything other than voting D on the ticket. If you take African Americans for instance, you will find them VERY pro-Second Amendment. And anti-gay marriage, and often anti-abortion, and so on. Democrats don't care. Blacks vote democrat no matter what. So those anti-gun and anti-family policies get put in no matter what.
Judicial control is another way these things get forced through too. California had an anti-gay marriage referendum, but the wrong side won so Judges stepped in to "correct" democracy.

Biden had 2 rallies in Flint and Detroit, Michigan with Obama. Tomorrow, Biden will campaign 4 times in Philadelphia, PA.

Biden's Hail Mary political strategy has literally become sucking jogger dick for votes.
But without his Obama backpack, he's just going to a deep blue, but recent riot zone where the Democrat mayor just allowed his people to go buck wild/fend for themselves four times (just to compete with Trump again). I don't know. what will Biden try there that will be inspiring? More messages of "unity?" Or more gibs?

Its not to inspire. It's to fuse his events with "Souls to the Polls" to get blacks to the voting booth. Only problem is that the churches are closed. No souls, no polls.

Going all in on Coof was probably the dumbest political strategy ever. They closed down EVERY single political apparatus, like colleges and S2TP. They had to try to win by early VBM, and with that backfiring, their constituency is too scared to go outside and vote on election day. Its the most short sighted thing ever conceived.

Snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.

In other news water is wet.

Yeah. Who's to say that most of the voting joggers voted by mail, with a significant amount of them fucking up the process alongside other panicked Democrat voters? But that's just some cope.

Seriously, Biden has whored himself out in the Pennsylvania to a big degree, in comparison to the Rust Belt. More than 10 times he's going to be there, speak for not even close to an hour before he dips, and flip a county +776. Other counties could be flipped to give him an edge (and some are trending/leaning), But he goes to the deep blue golem of counties there.

And they're still sending Kamala to Florida, as if they want to salvage Miami. Just send the whole team to the Midwest already. The eastern Sun Belt is lost and locked up come ED. And I swear Biden could have put more game in Arizona.

I thought VBM was breaking records. something like it accounts for a 1/3 of the vote total in 2016.

Is it overhyped? is the turn out bad?

The more they send Kamala to a place, the worse the poll numbers get. Hope they send her to Pennsylvania to give the penultimate kiss of death for their electoral chances.

Right, and some states are only doing vbm like iowa or somewhere. so how is the vmb/early vote failing dems?
They have nowhere near the margins they were saying.

Democrats were polled to prefer VBM by 60+%. Republicans were the mirror and preferred voting in person, specifically on election day. Democrats, by this metric, should have massive leads in early voting while Republicans storm the polls on election day with some trickling in before then. Also, for polls to be right, they predict a large surge of new voters, mostly minority and young, going to Biden.

That's what should happen, but its not happening. Turnout is down in Democratic strongholds like cities while Republican turnout is up. To put it into perspective, Nevada, a state considered not in play, is currently tied between the two parties and is majority MALE. Arizona, Florida, NC, WI, and MI are all similar. Georgia has a 7 point Republican edge, and Texas has a 10+% Republican edge. Also, the majority of new voters are non college white, a Trump group. The youth vote as a total percentage of the electorate is down. Black turnout is down. If Democrats are tied by election day in all these states, and Republicans come out en masse to vote, its game over.

Thats why they are shitting bricks about Florida now. The early vote margin is LESS than 2016 and still dropping.

Holy shit. How did Biden not realize that when you're called upon by the most respected Democrat in the country to introduce yourself, you do so? I'm also sure that everyone notices how angry Biden gets after he got humiliated in the debate. It's as if he is no longer confident that he is going to win the election. Heck, he has to beg for people to get votes. Contrast that to Trump who considers voting as a gathering families, friends, and co-workers to hit the polls in-person and make an important difference. Trump's state is a calling, Biden's an desperate command and which one shows strength?

Four times in the deepest blue city in the state?

I get that they are trying to minimize Trump's gain in Philadelphia County, but even the gains made in the suburbs will not be enough if everywhere else in the state is voting against him by an even larger margin. Trump is hitting everywhere but Philadelphia in the state in order to maximize turnout in reliable red counties like Butler County and flips the likes of Bucks and Lackawanna County. There are only so many voters out of Philadelphia and there are already signs that they are bleeding votes in urban areas where lots of nonwhites come from. It shows how out of touch the DNC are if they consider rallies outside of big cities beneath them.

I had to look up nevada to see if that was blue in 2016 and man, that's incredible. i might start considering a landslide for trump. that's probably why the shitlibs are quadrupling the shrill TDS in the WSJ comments. it was pretty unexpected and sudden. And i swear a few of them are paid DNC officials because they parrot the same script within hours of an event and in unison with each other.

oh a landslide victory would be beautiful.

Not that I would ever make the grievous affront of confusing personal experience with broad experience, but I will say that despite the fear laden scare stories I've heard from mostly lefties about how early voting lines are incredibly long and disenfranchisement is on the rise etc, voting today was easy as shit even in a fairly large metro area. Was in and out within 30 minutes, I've spent more time going to a drive thru during lunch on a work day.

It's more efficient, though. Trump has to hold multiple rallies in multiple parts of the state to GOTV across a wider area; smaller gains but multiples of them, and fighting to flip some areas outright. Biden seems to think he can make up all the numbers in a concentrated Democratic stronghold, which is the typical Democratic strategy for the last 30+ years.

I wouldn't expect Biden to fight Trump out in the red areas of the state for a smaller number of votes. For one thing, those are the most enthusiastic areas for Trump, so it's an uphill battle. For another, the non-urban areas are also the ones that favor fracking the most, and no matter how many lying "fact checks" articles he pays bribes for, Biden knows he's lost that group hard.

Biden shouldn't bother going to the deep red counties like Butler, true, but he could do more than four rallies in the same city. He can try keeping Lackawanna and Monroe County - and in the former play to his home town advantage -, campaigning in Dauphin County which is becoming bluer, make a stop at Bucks County to widen the margin from last time, try flipping Erie which seems tied, or make a trip to Delaware or Montgomery County. All areas where he can make potential gains.

It would at least look like a weak attempt at keeping blue collar support rather than showing how little they care about anyone that is not part of the elites, which was a big reason why Bill Clinton won a lot of them over. We'll have to see if Biden's strategy works once November 6th comes around.

Anyone heard of any Joe Biden books planned for after the election - am thinking (and hoping) of something along the lines of ‘Shattered’ that chronicled the campaign and loss of Queen Hillary. Hopefully there will be, Shattered was the push that made me fall down this rabbit hole and I’ve been fascinated by U.S. politics and personalities ever since. I’d love to get a look inside what’s happening inside this campaign, it looks absolutely chaotic.

OK, so, it's either a 640 billion dollar plan over 10 years, where they'll invest 13 billion (1.3 billion each year) with the hopes of building 400,000 homes for homeless, and 100 billion for other affordable housing, with the rest of the 527 billion dollars vanishing into people's pockets OR it's 753 billion dollars, where they'll build 400,000 homes for the homeless and, with the Dem's records, put down 3 mobile homes in a vacant lot for the rest of the money.

So the plan is 400,000 houses PLUS !!MYSTERY NUMBER!! of houses.

At 640,000,000,000 for the entire plan.

Meaning, the 13 billion dollars they'll actually supposedly spend on buying some crack den apartment buildings and refurbishing them, will come out to $32,500 per unit, meaning either they'll build Soviet block tenements again for "housing projects" like the last big Dem housing project, or they're completely fucking lying, since you couldn't buy a PARKING SPACE for $32.5K in the big cities where homelessness is a problem.

Either way, they'd be better off lighting the fucking money on fire.

This is just a way to slorp up 640 billion (or more) into people's pockets and have jack shit to show for it.

You know, just like the Clinton Foundation and Haiti.

I am sure this plan will go as well as Obama's Green Energy scams Initiative went...
