Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Or will his running mate automatically replace him just the way Vice-President is supposted to step in after the Big Man in the White House chokes on a piece of matzo? Does he even have a running mate yet?

Nah. You wouldn't see suicides on air. You'd see people calling for other people to suicide for the cause.

Even Antifa is all about getting someone else to be the martyr, not themselves. For example, Simpothy McVeigh was handed a bomb to throw by some Antifa leader who then fled into the mass of crowd to let Simpothy take the blame instead.

deluded people have to face reality to get better. Their whole problem is they think that reality can be bargained with, that their hurt feelings matter more than anyone elses feelings. A huge trump win would also cause some serious upset in the DNC, maybe even to the point where bret weinstein's unity party might gain popularity. There needs to be more than one well run party to compete for votes based on policies. Right now republicans don't have to offer much to get votes, the country is better off when both parties have electable candidates.

If they "build houses" they can to forced Urban reengineering to turn suburbs into urban blight hellscapes and create more bugmen hives, do demographic engineering to fuck over red districts with hordes of entitled and lazy joggers, etc etc. Not to mention the kickbacks they'd get from the companies involved.

There's no way they'd give up the chance to use such a project to engineer some future scheme of theirs. Be it pushing the "Great Reset" type crap and encouraging the poor stupid rural red states to live like the glorious and superior blue urban bugmen, or encourage refugees and joggers to flip districts blue, or what have you. It's too enticing, too easy an ask.

There is rumor that the big media journalism outlets are getting gutted after the election, either way it goes. I know it's a big fucking 🌈 on my part, but ATT trying to cut the fat and signaling selling CNN's headquarters has me hopeful. I hope all the talking heads that don't have enough blackmail to stay in the air try to go to YouTube and discover that no one likes them after all.

I think the election is still in the air, I'm less confident of a Trump win that 2016, but that might be cause I feel like I have something to lose this election with an investment in his next term rather than the lolz of him winning the first. Joe however has decided to spike the ball at the one yard line here. Not going to say the touchdown won't still be called by the refs, but this is the kind of unpopular position he's been avoiding since the Chimp Outs.

Do they think the states it'll matter in are locked in? Is this a big dive left to justify shifting the party back to center after the loss?

It's definitely not the his scatter brained rambling, it's the message from the party pulling the strings. Joe couldn't figure how to send a tweet if it could erase his remaining son from existence.

This- Trump can just endlessly beam this up on his screens during his rallies.

Why would Biden's PR team bother saying this right before the election, especially when it's been a non-issue for months by now? Is he doubling down on scaring the undecided soccer moms to the polling station? The problem is that it also reminds gun owners that they have to vote!
