I want Biden to win just because I want to see the right wing version of "Not my president". I was kinda not paying attention during the whole Obama administration so I missed on so much right wing butthurt while these last year have sort of numbed me to left wing butthurt.

It was a different time. Online autism chambers weren't as popular, so less people were scouring the Obama administration (or media, or other politically-inclined establishments) for signs of foul play. It's not like nowadays where you'll hear about a story on /pol/ long before any mainstream lugenpresse.

I still don't know what QAnon is. Apparently it's a satanic cult of elites who sex traffic kids, but that's no different then what they've been saying for years now, why is it being used now as a talking point?
Qanon is a shitposter that started on 8chan, who allegedly has access to high level military intelligence. Everything he posts is stilted and ambiguous. At some point, boomers everywhere started following him, taking him seriously, and trying to decode what he's saying. Qanon's posted nearly 5,000 messages, and all of his posts are archived at various sites like www.qanon.pub.

The Qanon community is made up of boomers, and a smattering of millenials who shit out poor quality videos where they throw explanations at the wall and see what sticks, and they make a considerable amount of money off of sponsorships and donations.

A member of my family follows Qanon, and I've had to explain all sorts of *chan lingo and minutiae to them. They're certain that Qanon knows all, but all I've ever seen is a whole lot of very, very vague explanations and confirmation bias. Qanon seems to mostly just post pro-American propaganda that doesn't actually explain anything, nor ever urge them to act at all, in any way, other than making memes and trying to redpill anyone around them.

Personally, I think if anything, Qanon seems like a panacea to calm down anyone that might actually get up and fight back against the chaos. But I have no idea why mainstream media sources demonize Q and paint it to be a giant conspiracy/cabal/whatever the fuck. It seems to be just a bunch of boomers playing Matlock and giving their kids' inheritances away to YouTube grifters.

We also have a thread on them (where I've talked a bit about some of the YouTubers) right here.

Anticipate PA going to Biden. Michigan not sure, but I think Whitmer's crap alone might have engendered enough ill will to flip it red, and I'm thinking yoopers ain't gonna go to bat for Biden. 'Sconsin, red. MN, thinking Biden but weakly so at best, might be wrong - anywhere that isn't Minneapolis seems very pissed with the Dems as of late. Rochester alone isn't pleased about having been directly downwind from the TC trashfire, and rather dislikes the TC in a kind of "Fuck you, mom and dad" way. Mankato's a college town and is going to lean Biden, Owatonna however will not give a single solitary shit what the TC and Mankato think. TC suburbs themselves will glow so damn red they'll look like electric stovetops from orbit I think, but Minneapolis ain't gonna stop being bluer than Joe Biden's balls in a room full of girls with shaved heads. Duluth will probably be weakly blue.
Joe's one foray into a Pennsylvania Republican stronghold had him speak to national press alone and if you wanted to see him speak as an average Joe, you'd have to pay $1600 and there were more Trump supporters following him then. Also, his comment about bankrupting the oil industry and his constant flip-flopping on fracking could make him lose Pennsylvania. The nationwide mask mandate bullshit isn't helping either, mainly because Tom Wolf's response to COVID-19 was nothing short of extreme and people are getting tired of that. Also, Philadelphia is ON FUCKING FIRE AGAIN and the mayor's response was to shit himself and do nothing.

I've been assuming for about a year now that Trump will win, solely on the basis that the majority of US Presidents got 2 consecutive terms.
Even if that's not an accurate prediction, I'm excited to see people go insane on the internet regardless of outcome.
Don't think my life will change very much regardless of who wins, other than potentially getting raped on taxes if Biden wins.

The fact that Joe's been running on a platform that will rape you in taxes is completely baffling to people, and it's more baffling that people will vote for that.

I mean, did he actually commit to the GND or whatever is version is called or is he still doing "vote for me and find out what I'll do, silly voters! Tee hee!"
