My thought is that if they actually had a come-to-Jesus moment, the Dems would right now not be in lockstep behind Biden, and be horrified by even false-Koolaid promises.

Maybe that's the last vestiges of my faith in humanity showing.
The problem with the modern democrats is several fold:
1: A resurgence of the drinkers
2: Trump Derangement Syndrome
3: The slipping of institutional power.

The result is that the old democrats who realized how shit the commies are have a problem. They are losing power, they HAVE to kow tow to some degree to the resurgence, and they cannot allow Trump to win. Many of them find it a -bitter- pill to swallow, but justify the kow towing by the (not unfounded) belief that the people running are promising things they have no intent at all of fulfilling.

That makes up the noticeable majority.

You also have two sizable minorities. The "AH HA! I WAS ONLY PRETENDING TO BE MODERATE!" crowd, whether sincere or opportunistic. And the "Fuck this, I am not voting/voting third party/voting Trump" crowd.

You can blame a sizable chunk of the absolute dearth of Biden enthusiasm on this.

CNN has already called Michigan for Biden based on the early voting.
Then if the state looks more red on election night, then they'd have no problems calling it for Trump.

Their basis is on party support but when the ballots begin counting (and Michigan is having most of their ballots counted on election night), CNN will change it's tune if Trump wins that state.

I say this with a bit of confidence since CNN was more in the bag for HillDawg in 2016 compared to Biden.

I think besides Fox, CNN and the more politically neutral stations would call the states. That sounds weird to say but despite CNN being Anti-Trump, it isn't 100% on the Biden train given there were many moments where many at CNN seemed pissed at Biden throughout the campaign and also were pissed at Pelosi too.

Of course give me your rainbows but I believe that the only stations not going to call states for Trump are the far left news like NBC.
They're gonna insist the uncounted votes will swing 3 or 4 crucial states, and do rolling coverage of such developments for the rest of November. The faction still butthurt about 2016 kept asking if Trump would commit to a peaceful transfer of power, seemingly oblivious to how damaging it would be for democracy if the presumptive winner was found out to not actually have won 3 weeks after voting day. You know it's politically motivated, too, because had it been GOP senators holding out hope in 2018 that mail-ins 5 days later would save them their elections, we would have all laughed at them.
CNN was neutral 2 decades ago, but found that didn't bring in the ratings. If they think hay can be made from ginning up anti-GOP sentiment, they will.

Ladies and gentlemen.

We are going to see some serious shit.

We'll know if it's "Too close to call" for 3-4 hours.

Well, at work and everyone I know thats still in military or PD is getting spammed with messages about expecting alot of violence this week. If you live in a hotbed riot area you seriously might want to go camping for awhile. If anywhere should be interesting I bet it would be Idaho, where the locals might start burning down the homes of californites to send them packing.

It's actually more that the Clintons got control of CNN rather than CNN raking in ratings from Anti-GOP sentiment. CNN may try to be more neutral again with this election since they seemed more pissed at Biden and Pelosi than they have been for any Democrat in the past 20 years. It further cements this that CNN's parent company had donated to Clinton in 2016 but did not give any donations to Biden this year.

"Experts" hedging their bets on Pennsylvania

Which means it's tied at worst

Biden loses PA, he's done. He'd have to run the table of the other 'battleground swing something something states' if he loses both PA and FL and he's not gonna run that table

These numbers quantify something but until you get on the ground, you don't see the enthusiasm firsthand.

Its like an army out here in dark blue Opa Locka. And they are all up to date with nearly everything that happened the last few days.

It's looking like Antifa's going to work overtime on Election Day; pray that they don't attack voters of any party at the centers.

Tell them to go to that Trump rally there tonight. It's gonna be a party. It's also telling how well he's doing in Florida to make his final trip in Florida a deep blue place.
