"Current year" terms that piss you off

“Decent human being”

A phrase used by annoying SJWs and y’allposters everywhere to refer to somebody who shares their twisted view of the world. It annoys me primarily both because it’s such a general term and also because the basis of “decency” in a moral framework is left undefined. Another extension of the “right side of history” bullshit, I assume.
My favorite refutation of the Right Side of History: I'd rather be on the Right Side of Truth.

Thanks for reminding me.

"Misgender"

Not sure if it's a CURRENT YEAR word, but it's new enough for me to absolutely hate.
not realy a term but ,the general condesending tone of leftist,i wee this all the time in instagram where they take this overly feminine way of explaning to use like im 5..oh wait now that i think of it there is a term i hate it is "lets talk about" lets talk about what bitch?if any one said this to me irl i would imideatly ghost them from my life

Referring to people as bodies.

"Black bodies" "Fat bodies, etc.
LMFOA its cuz they think these groups are not as good, nice floidian slip by them

I find it funny that Democrats want to claim me as one of their own. When back in the day, they basically tore the nation in two and set brother against brother as soon I won the election. They didn't even give me a chance to explain my policies that I was willing to preserve slavery in order to keep the union intact. And now they want to tear down my statue again for some reason.

By the way I haven't been following the news lately but how has my future successor been doing and are the Democrats giving him a hard time as well? Well I am sure it is not as bad as when I had it.

Speaking of "claiming"...

I hate when, whenever someone of a specific background gets into trouble, there's always this one person going "as a __, we don't claim him" or any variant to that.
Here's an example of this shit:

Like, what the fuck does that even mean? How do you "claim" someone?

Not so much the message itself, but because of how ubiquitous it has been:

GO VOTE!!!!

I’ve heard it so much these past few months on social media and I’m sick of it. Also, people in general have been trying to get the youth vote, despite sounding like the “hello, fellow kids” meme and the hilariously low turnout among the 18-25 age range. Additionally, I wish that on social media that you had a little thing you could fill out to say you voted just so you wouldn’t have to see anymore election ads.

The endless barrage of "go out and vote" ads that try so hard to be quirky, trendy, or relatable.

Anyone who needs to be reminded to go out and vote is probably privileged enough to otherwise not vote; if they had skin in the game, they'd already be motivated enough to go vote.
You ain't seen nothing amigo

"DNI", stands for "Do Not Interact". It's pretty much only used by 17-13 year olds on their carrds as a more professional way to tell you to fuck off and never talk to them if you don't support their anime ship or their pandagender neopronouns uwu
Holy shit, I feel the exact same way. Also, do they seriously expect those people listed to care enough to read their "DNI" list?

Yes, yes they do. It's mostly the same basic shit, like "dni if ur homophobic/transphobic/ableist" or "dni if u don't support blm/acab" so really it's pointless to read it once you figure that out.

Remember when kids would sketch on the bathroom stalls about who was the cutest, smartest, dumbest, etc?

The Facebook and Twitter of yesteryear. Only less toxic.

I love reading DNI lists to see how many apply to me. I also love when they claim "trauma" over the most inane shit and wind up with things like "DNI if you have an Ed Edd & Eddy icon," and "DNI if your name is Jaden or Oliver" (both actual things I've seen).

Tag lists are the same level of autism on Tumblr. "If we're mutuals please tag posts with Family Guy as #evan dont look."
