I wonder if the teachers take it in turns to minimise exposure. At the end of the week, the teacher screams, “You have brittle bones, you’ll age like milk, your boyfriend is gay and everyone just pretends they see you as female to be polite!” Then the school apologises and assures Stephie that the teacher has been fired.

Wait a fucking minute. Labelle already did a whole arc about how sex education supposedly lets down LGBT+ teens. Does it not count because there wasn't an adult involved?
Why is he recycling stories when he could finally put Stephie on HRT? Is he delaying it out of laziness? Because of COVID? Does he not want to see his characters become adults? Or is it because- as I've suspected for a while- Labelle has never actually taken HRT and thus can't describe its effects?
