Pearl-clutching about bloodthirstiness of the other side is pure cringe. I make an exception for pure grave-dancing shit especially when it isn't at all justified. Gloating about the death of Ruth Bader Ginsburg, a ridiculously nice person, was utterly fucking disgusting, just as the grave-dancing about Antonin Scalia was. I will note that they were best friends, in the real world where people aren't complete horror shows to each other.

Nah, fuck that. There is a major difference there. If RBG had quietly gone into retirement once her faculties were slipping, nobody would have been happy that she died.

But we’re talking about a SCOTUS judge who the last couple of years of her term was clearly senile and fucking fell asleep in hearings. (Something the MSM tried their hardest to ignore.)

Yet despite being clearly incapable of fulfilling her very important job, she hung on out of spite and in hopes of preventing Trump nominating another SCOTUS judge.

You can’t blame folks for treating her death like a political match point and/or a political circus when SHE is the one who turned it into that.

Ginsburg is an odd one because I'd absolutely have agreed with @AnOminous a few years ago but the fact she refused to retire well past the point where she wasn't fit for the job made her a lot less sympathetic by the end. I still didn't go on Twitter and rejoice because I have some sense of decency.
