This is why you need all sorts of reference when you make pieces. You cannot make a young person with laugh lines or a lot of wrinkles in the same way you cannot make an old person without obvious defining features. But hey, i'm not the one to judge anyone's fuck ups when all my drawings are fuckups themselves.

Still, redraws are nice and i love them mostly for the fact you see X drawing with a different style. For me it's amazing how people make them yet they are still easily recognizable.

There's errors and then there is not doing proper research on a race of people. I like doing redraws also!

This is completely off topic but redrawing stuff reminded me of the Hazbin Hotel Redesign thread on BadWebComics (It's on a tapatalk forum) where people draw the main cast of HH in different styles. It was interesting to see everyone's interpretations. Unfortunately the user SandalWedge got a bit of hate from Vivziepop herself on tumblr for redrawing a leaked character of hers. It was honestly funny. (Context: Viv hates it when anyone dares to redesign her characters. Even if it's for fun...)

I really hope that a developer DM's someone here and tells them to stop. They are aware of Kiwi Farms.

This is really good! I love how you managed to make her look actually pretty cute and also kept the general color scheme of her outfit while also making it a lot less frumpy and a lot more memorable. I'd recommend posting it in our redraw thread, that's where these types of art usually go!

Found the person who made it. The insecurity is palatable.

whenever someone puts their mental illnesses in their bio it kinda irks me, because you can just feel that they are self diagnosed or just looking for attention and pity points or if they really mess up they blame it on their mental illnesses.

Im diagnosed with one of those mental illnesses in their bio, and i do not think anyone with BPD or anything of that sort would openly put it into their description due to it being so stigmatized.

I honestly cannot think of anyone in my circle who puts their problems into their bio

To give a quick rundown, I posted my redesigns onto Twitter and ended up gaining the creator's attention, he ended up complaining about my redesign of Leona, which was funny since in my character write-up for her, she's everything he would have hated. He called me a clown despite him publicly shaming me to literally all of his followers, and overall ended up acting like a complete lolcow. Not that I give a shit, his OCs were garbage anyway.
