Because odds are they don’t actually have any of these disorders. BPD is pretty much the new "lol I’m a total psycho aren’t I so quirky?" disorder now that it’s been getting more mainstream recognition and the people have caught on to the tricks of traditional attention whore munchie disorders like DID/MPD. And of course depression and anxiety are obligatory for Tumblrinas to have because they’re go-to excuses for never socializing or doing work.
Although on the off chance they di actually have BPD then that makes everything else extra hilariou, because one of the primary traits of Borderliners is that they have no secure personal identity or sense of self do they’re constantly going through different clique phases by becoming a chameleon who inserts themselves into new social circles through mimicry and then quickly discards them and the relationships related to that phase once the next identity crisis comes along.
So it’s like admitting that all those flowerly labels in your Twitter bio are a bunch of nonsense you don’t believe in because the real problem is that you have no concrete self image, and are guaranteed to pull a 180 on in the future.

Motherfucker, 'lack of energy' is no excuse to not get a job. Unless you're some popular (porn) or furry artist, Wuflu fucked everything up in your location, actually busy with something else (like hitting hit by a natural disaster), or got an actually deliberating disability, get a job. Relying on only commissions is not enough to get enough to pay off bills. It's also your safety net if you really, absolutely sure, want to be an artist that wants to mainly go by commissions.
I can obviously tell this guy is either coddled by his parents or somehow got tugboats. He's an fucking adult, if he doesn't get his shit together, then this will hurt him in the long run. I'm so tired of people like these

The French inspired spelling of “negraux” in the username is odd to me, but it’s not the first time I’ve seen something of the sort - I know that some of the intersectional types write “heaux” instead of “hoes” when talking about, well, hookers, and it appears to be yet another woke deliberate misspelling in the same vein as folx and Latinx. And if some of the previous replies are right that this person is white and just faking being black and indigenous, imagine the backlash she (?) would get for not only faking her race but also for using an outdated term (not sure if “negro” is considered a slur as bad as dropping the N bomb but I do know it’s not PC)

Well for anyone curious I did find the Nativember user’s website and Instagram that included selfies, and it looks they aren’t white. Though a curious detail on their about page lists having majored in fashion merchandising in high school, which suggests they went to private school, so I wouldn’t rule out "overcompensating online because deep down they know they’re the spoiled parasitic bourgeois upper class their peers always complain about"

Gotta say, the original is terribly unflattering. It's probably because of the shape of the face, which accentuates the overall bad aesthetic of the lips/nose. Everything else makes it even worse.
Big ups on the redraw. I might do one as a pallete cleanser.

The headshape I saw for most Sioux were square jawed, strong cheek boned heads. i mean the artist did look at a bunch of old people and designed a 22 year old man off those examples apparently...
My Redraw isn't that great but yeah. It was a nice palette cleanser for me.

This is why you need all sorts of reference when you make pieces. You cannot make a young person with laugh lines or a lot of wrinkles in the same way you cannot make an old person without obvious defining features. But hey, i'm not the one to judge anyone's fuck ups when all my drawings are fuckups themselves.
Still, redraws are nice and i love them mostly for the fact you see X drawing with a different style. For me it's amazing how people make them yet they are still easily recognizable.

This is really good! I love how you managed to make her look actually pretty cute and also kept the general color scheme of her outfit while also making it a lot less frumpy and a lot more memorable. I'd recommend posting it in our redraw thread, that's where these types of art usually go!

I wish we could go back to 2016 where we could just call out people that were kinning. Rn it's either people that think it means relating to a character or 16 y/os nya/nya/nyaself that self-diagnose depression and adhd that act like if you just called them a slur if you point out how cringe kinning is.
