Trump Derangement Syndrome - Orange man bad. Read the OP! (ᴛʜɪs ᴛʜʀᴇᴀᴅ ɪs ʟɪᴋᴇ ᴋɪᴡɪ ғᴀʀᴍs ʀᴇᴠɪᴇᴡs ɴᴏᴡ) 🗿🗿🗿🗿

Couple weeks ago I was feeling there was a high chance of Trump winning, maybe 60%, but now feel it's relatively certain.
Me too, my dad and a bunch of other people who have been 100% apolitical their entire life are now super vocal. Not so much because of trump, but because of all the ridiculous 24/7 anti-trump stuff. Up until now I've never heard them care about politics at all. Now I got family yelling at the tv when a sportsball man cries about blm, buying guns due to the riots, boycotting brands, and a bunch of other surprising stuff. I think the other side has unknowingly kicked the boomer hive. I personally never bothered to vote but have been annoyed so much by trump derangement people that I did it out of spite.

This is my experience too, and I am in a swing state. I was the only political one among them, now all are going to vote as a family today.

Candidate with a passionate base ready to support him vs canidate where the vast majority take from his base seems to be “Ugh, he sucks and I hate it, but it’s better than the other guy, I guess...”

I know which one I would expect to win in that situation. Not saying it’s a sure thing, but I know which one looks more likely.

Is there gonna be a poll site that shows the polls going up for the election? Like the one used for hillary v trump?

They've already said they will literally ban you from any big tech related site if you even think about declaring a winner today without permission, and to expect not to know for weeks. And Nate Granite has already said that they won't be doing exit polling.

So no, you won't be allowed to know who is winning until they know how many votes they need to find.

Am I the only one who finds this a little suspect? As if they're trying to hide the real chances of a Trump victory, perhaps?

Well lads, I just got back from the polls. I had plenty of time to think, standing in the morning cold, looking at the dark blue sky as the stars began to disappear. By the time I got to the voting machine itself, I looked down at the choices I had and realized that I wasn't voting for just myself, but for America and all of her peoples. I proudly did the right thing and would do it again one million times. I left the polling place knowing that my choice, writing in Hillary Rodham Clinton, was indeed the choice that all of America needed to make.

It's #HerTurn.

Hey it's better than nothing. Thanks, dawg.

Sounds like they got something to hide.

Good for you.

I would gladly take Hillary over Harris.

The countries with "free" healthcare pay low prices for drugs and equipment, and do very little R&D into new drugs compared to the US. Research doesn't costs a shitload of money, and neither does production, so the money has to come from somewhere so the US taxpayer ends up paying for it.

That's just one facet of the psychotic disaster that is the healthcare industry in the US, since there's so much more to it. TL;DR there's a lot of people getting a free or subsidized ride, and the money has to come from somewhere. Middle class suffers.

Fixed that for you as the amount of $$$ that drug companies put into R&D is more than the GNP of small countries.

Pharmaceutical companies typically claim that one of the reasons for high drugs prices is because of the amount that they spend on research and development (R&D). According to the industry, it costs USD $2.6 billion to bring a drug to market

I think they mean that the nations with subsizided healthcare don't need to spend any money in R&D or production themselves, since R&D is being done in the US and production is split between China and us.

I never thought I'd see the DNC pushing forward a woman that could be worse than Hillary, but I guess they dug in deep and really made an effort to find someone to exceed all expectations.
