Let's pretend for one moment that he does die before the election, just for the funsies. What happens then? Will the nomination revert to option number 2, aka Bernie Sanders? Biden should have been doing this soon after the primaries. He is reeking of desperation. Next time, the DNC needs to choose someone that doesn’t have dementia and that can actually campaign instead of saving it all until the very last second.

This is pretty much Biden in a nutshell. While Biden was hiding in one of his houses for months on end, Trump was having rallies and getting people excited to vote for him. The most excitement people can muster for Biden is “settle with Joe”. On top of that, Biden rarely made any speaking appearances, and when he did, it was always scripted with the same tired talking points he uses in every speech, such as, “Trump sees the United States from Park Avenue, I see the United States from Scranton”. If Biden manages to win, the message that it will send is that you can have the laziest campaign possible and still win if you have the media machine behind you. Pathetic doesn’t even begin to suffice for how bad a campaign Biden has run.

I wonder if Biden isn't insisting on Scranton bc it seems to have been given an undue importance in his campaign. I wonder if Biden himself thinks he may lose and is now trying to get Scranton or Pennsylvania as a final consolation prize, "At least I got Scranton, a city near and dear to my heart." He talks about it all the time and it's not a known metonym like DC or Wall Street or Detroit. Tbh it makes me think of The Office.

Biden didn’t have much enthusiasm and he was lazy on the ground game. Imo if any other candidate besides Joe got in, they’d have a better shot at limiting Trump to 4 years. He was like the worst option.

Panic has set in. They know they will lose Florida and PA. They’re admitting it. “We still have other paths to 270!!!” Yeah, but those all require Georgia, Michigan, Texas and Arizona and require you to keep Minnesota. This not what one would consider to be a “reality based” path to 270. If Joe can’t win PA after spending every lucid 2 hours daily there since September, he’s not carrying the others. Early GOP turnout in PA is 3 to 1 over Dems and has already erased any slight Dem early voting lead in all precincts.
The cheating attempts are getting a little too obvious already. With GOP poll watchers being thrown out or denied access in Philly.
