Actually, I was hoping somebody else knew. Every cut in the video starts exactly when the Trump supporters start acting aggressively. Woman doesn't seem afraid for herself and even goes to the cops to prevent them from leaving the scene (and to imply that the cops are racists, which is great footage for her video, not that helpful otherwise), not to ask for protection or anything. So we're left to assume that some Californian rednecks went Duel (1971) on her for having a Biden bumper sticker or something and the cops just stood there because they hate WoC. It's a bigthink.png... a lot of what we see there would be tough to justify under any circumstances, but I do wonder what we'd see in an unedited video.

After the 2020 Summer of Love, insurance companies are requiring more companies to take proactive measures to prevent vandalism.

Even if the chance of riots is technically lower, businesses are not going to take that risk if they want a payout.

That said, it’s extremely telling that business owners in a huge number of cities believe that there’s an actionable risk that whatever happens tonight is going to cause rioting. In the cities. By people of the political persuasion matching those who typically live in cities.

The country already knows we’re headed to 4 more years. The rest is just denial, anger and bargaining.

Can confirm, this is now required in quite a few locales. One more thing to be on top of tenants about. "Hey faggot, did you have your shit boarded up for the mindless hoards on election night?"

I have a corollary on that regarding the guns based on my recent dive into gun forums. The right wingers have guns and are by and by probably more practiced with them than whatever mooks they’d scrounge up to bust down doors. A lot of police trade-in pistols, aside from the holster wear and being full of lint, are often nearly mint. That indicates that a lot of officers either do not keep up with range time at all or get away with doing it with something besides their service weapon.
