Kentucky went so hard red in 2018 that the only serious elected official that's a Democrat is the governor, and he's only in because the previous Republican was a carpet bagging ass who rolled a little too hard against the teachers unions. I am getting a combo of 2008 and 2012 Obama vibes. 2008 in the sense there was some uncertainty that could Obama win after what Bush put the country through and the youth came out for him. And 2012 in the sense that Obama could have lost but won in the end. Trump has to be the first white populist that this nation has had post World War 2 and I haven't seen such passion from whites for him.
