Guys, let's cut the bullshit. Trump won.
We don't know that he's won. We know he was winning when all the states suddenly decided they were too sleepy to finish counting the votes which is unprecedented and shady AF given how the media was refusing to call states Trump clearly had in the bag while calling states for Biden the moment their polls closed. This looks like a coordinated effort to deny him a victory, forcing his hand.

This thread is moving fast so sorry if this was mentioned.

I live in Colorado and was paying attention to two important ballot measures.
Prop 113 to join the interstate compact to cast electoral votes based on the national popular vote has passed.
But, Amendment 76 to change the voting eligibility requirements to require being a US citizen also passed. So there's that interesting bit.

I'm planning on leaving this state.

Biden has five ways to win, all unlikely. It's a non-zero possibility, but I wouldn't count on it.
None are unlikely, in fact most are more than likely. NV looks set, so MI and WI make a win. Anything Penn = win. All those would match the expected pre election results. NC and GA are more wildcards, but not even needed now that AZ is in the books.

Everyone just needs to be smart enough to ignore Trump's dumbass. AZ is done. Biden has 5 ways to win this, its over cept for the counting.
People with money on the line are still 2/3 Trump. I doubt Biden is coming back in Georgia or North Carolina, so it'll come down to whether Trump can hold his lead in PA/WI/MI.

Tbh, the fact that my county swung Biden (at 74% reporting) feels kinda fucky. We voted Trump last election by a fairly wide margin and this year there's been nothing but Trump flags flying. Most of the people I talk to fucking hate the lockdowns and blame Gavin Nuisance for them. And I'm in no hugbox; I talk to a lot of people at my job.

Assuming Biden takes AZ, he absolutely needs to take PA and any one of NC, GA, Wisconsin, or Michigan. PA is doubtful, and it's looking like the only one of those other four he has a decent chance of taking is Georgia.

Glad I tempered my expectations; it's a lot closer than I was anticipating.

Holy Shit, how did I not know of this? I consider myself one of the more informed people I know politically and this got right by me.

I almost want to ring a very anti-Trump friend of mine who, when I met her, was virilantly against W. Bush but now is one of those "Trump is way worse than Bush" types. But last time I spoke to her she was insisting that Trump called Nazis "very fine peope" and claimed to have watched the video where he did it, so I feel it's pointless. Still, nice to have one more thing to add to the list next time I get into such a conversation.

Yeah it's absolutely maddening how stuff like Trump ending the Patriot Act gets memory holed. But it's similar to how Trump did all that fighting for the USMCA deal to help the US not be screwed by other countries on trade (with the use of Canada and Mexico), Almost nothing was reported on regarding it until it got voted on by the House when Pelosi could pretend she was responsible for the years of negotiations that could benefit American workers.

Though what almost feels worse is how stuff like Trump calling generals wanting forever wars a bunch of "dopes and babies" for arguing against other countries paying for their own defense or for the US to have a plan for getting out of Afghanistan.

Trump is largely what Democrats pretended they wanted back in the Bush years and instead gets derided by modern Dems for it.

I believe this is in order-

"We used to love america"

Maybe I'm being a doomer here, but it feels like we're entering some pretty balkan territory. Go ahead and slap me with a "dumb", because I kinda hope it is dumb to think. Still.

Anyway sucks for you faggots. AK or bust!
I don't think the country can handle too many elections like this before things really start to fall apart in terms of decreased security and poor economic performance. The socio-economic and polictial divisions are growing and unless the US gov't can get a handle on the active sedition and corruption that's occurring things won't soon improve. There's a difference between protesting and monkey wrenching the system with the goal of overthrowing the government - yet the media has people so worked up and turned around that the otherwise obvious line between peaceful protest and riot is obscured for many people. The problem, imo, stems from corruption on all sides in government and industry (e.g., corporate media). The only difference between the USA and a place like Vietnam or Mexico when it comes to corruption is that Americans cost more and are better at disguising it. Rooting out the poor quality people from government is next to impossible so I'm not sure how the problem could ever be solved in time, but I think it's probably one of the first steps required if one wanted to make America great again.

It's Hawaii. Huge amount of burnt out hippies and methed out natives.

Real answer: it's projection models based on past voting outcomes. States aren't likely to have major shifts within the short span of two to four years. Nothing short of catastrophic level events or exodus's would cause a huge shift that would be considered an outright upset. Or you have the rare instances where Latins who fled Socialist countries not wanting Socialism here so they completely turn a major city red.

At any rate there is a high probability that Hawaii stays Blue, mathematically speaking.
Well then why not call Alaska for Trump, then. I mean that state, with the exception of one time, has gone to the Republicans.
