Twitter keeps telling me that there are "millions of votes" to still be counted. Fucking where?

I wouldn't call it millions, but there are a significant amount of mail-in votes for PA - about 1.5 million that have not yet been counted and of fucking course Philadelphia is being slow.

I assume everyone expects Alaska to go for Trump, but less than a third of the vote has been reported so far. The universe isn't going to explode just because we have to wait another hour to confirm that Trump won Alaska.

I gotta appreciate how when Biden said he'd won the reporters were fine with it, but when Trump said it, they're still having an epic meltdown and looking for every 'this person once knew Trump' person they can to issue negative statements about it. This despite the fact that voting clearly shows Trump winning right now, short of miracle mail in ballots, and the same not being true for Biden when he said it.

Yeah it's absolutely maddening how stuff like Trump ending the Patriot Act gets memory holed. But it's similar to how Trump did all that fighting for the USMCA deal to help the US not be screwed by other countries on trade (with the use of Canada and Mexico), Almost nothing was reported on regarding it until it got voted on by the House when Pelosi could pretend she was responsible for the years of negotiations that could benefit American workers.

Doesn't matter, most of these people are so far gone they'll say stuff like "oh the patriot act was never that bad anyway" nothing you say is okay, or sometimes even exists, unless a glowy touchscreen tells them it is.

I think an actual balkanization is incredibly unlikely due to geopolitical implications. It would diffuse a lot of cultural tensions tho.

The problem is that the divide is between the Cities and the Countryside. How do you split a country up into different regions when every metro area in the country is as blue as a smurf's anus and the rest of the country (where the food is grown) is beet red?

We don't know that he's won. We know he was winning when all the states suddenly decided they were too sleepy to finish counting the votes which is unprecedented and shady AF given how the media was refusing to call states Trump clearly had in the bag while calling states for Biden the moment their polls closed. This looks like a coordinated effort to deny him a victory, forcing his hand.

I was just thinking that. Has any state just shut up shop and stopped counting at 10pm with 60% counted like PA did? That has to be a first right?
