Beyond the fact that the voting patterns of California shift in tune with it's population loss, transplants voted for Ted Cruz at a higher rate than native Texans and at a rate that covered the spread for which he won. Californians may very well have saved Ted Cruz's re-election.

Anecdotally? Every leftie I know here is high off their own supply on this place and every righty has an exit strategy and they're slowly filtering out.
