Probably, the SCOTUS met and ruled on Bush v. Gore on December 12, 2000. So it was a fairly quick process, plus as I mentioned in another reply the electors have to cast their votes on Dec 14th so they can't pussyfoot around with it.

Trump surging in state. Vote count suddenly stops, one hour, two hours, three hours, four hours, five hours. Nothing. All the other non competitive states keep counting as usual, updating regularly. Only the swing states have mysterious 6 hour count stoppages.

And wouldn't you know...middle of the night a swift ballot dump just so happens to break 90% for the Democrat takes place and within 20 minutes they are magically ahead, by just as many votes as they needed to take the lead.
