I am not a lawyer but it seems to me that SCOTUS rules along ideological lines and party lines quite a bit. Not only that, but which party has bankrolled and openly supported the BLM riots this past summer? Which party has had mayors and governors refuse federal help to quell said riots? Which party has DAs saying they will neglect to bring criminal charges against rioters based on their political leanings?

One party has made it crystal clear that they are willing to use violence to get what they want, and I don't know how that party can argue their case in a court of law in good faith when they have mobs of masked people with molotovs waiting outside just in case they don't get their way.

SCOTUS is the only thing preventing the US from turning into Somalia right now, and they know it.

You can see it from how Ohio went Trump +8 but he narrowly lost the critical tipping point areas of the rust belt, which is odd. Ohio went for Obama twice and is usually a bellwether.

Also Iowa was +8 and Florida was +3, which were often bellwethers too.

Trump won Ohio by 8% in 2016. He won Wisconsin and Michigan combined by 1%.
