So Holden says "Incel is used in scientific studies and research!" I ask him to prove the proof.
He:
1) says I'm crazy
2) gives a 10 page article from a non-peer reviewed journal, written by a teacher and her students, about an analysis on an INTERNET POLL of 82 men. There is no scientific information or research in this paper.
3) I ask for something more legit. Something peer-reviewed in the science community. Something preferably not about poll analysis.
4) told I'm a lying crazy bitch
5) Holden posts another link to a study
6) it's literally the same exact study by the same exact authors at the same exact time (2001). The ONLY difference is that it's in a different non-peer reviewed journal with a different title. It is literally the same case data...82 men on the internet doing a poll and then them talking about it.
7) I point this out and ask for either a real scientific research article or for Holden to admit he was pulling shit out of his ass again

How did anything in this sequence mean IM the crazy one? Holden just tried to link the same poll study twice as proof that there's scientific research done about incel.....

@Holden confirmed for not understanding the meaning of the term "peer-reviewed." This really makes me question his history degree. I learned the importance of peer-reviewed sources in college, and my area of study isn't particularly focused on research, unlike history.

You're the one who linked The same article about sex twice to try and show someone out there talks about incel besides Incels.
Did it occur to you that they were the same article? Did you not notice they talk about the poll study twice and that they were the same authors and the same date? Did all of those important thins pass your notice?
You can't use the same data and call it two different scientific studies when the data wasn't even a scientific study in the first place.
The fact that you didn't notice these things and tried to pass one poll study off as two scientific research papers shows to everyone else that you're either sleep deprived or mentally challenged. I tried to give you the benefit of the doubt.

Again, you make no argument for that at all. You also make another mistake - that I even claimed it appeared in peer-reviewed studies. I do make this claim now, but you couldn't have heard it from me before. Hence you're making stuff up. Yawn.
Also, you know nothing about getting any degrees in Europe. I am not from US of Idiocracy.

I'm going through that article right now (the second link Holden posted) and I like how they are even admitting that they were sampling issues they had to overcome and that finding enough of a sample size to do the study was also going to be an issue since there weren't many other studies like it done before.

1.) That's a terrible nickname.
2.) You don't know where I live or where I went to university (and I'm not telling you, either).
3.) So you are claiming that performing research and publishing it is not important to historians in Europe? This does not match up with reality. For example, there are so many important articles in the field of archaeology published in French and German that it is required to study these languages in order to get an Egyptology degree.
4.) If you are not making the claims mentioned in point 3, how was this remark relevant?

A good example of what I'm telling you is the book by thornhill and palmer, Natural History of Rape, which was attacked by liberals for establishing that rape is often guided by the desire for sex, not domination, and that it can be a viable reproductive strategy for men with low reproductive chances (which non-seductive men like incels are). . It's dangerous to publish un-PC stuff. Crazy lunatics here may claim this is a conspiracy theory but what happened with the book I'm mentioning isn't a conspiracy - it happened in public.

3) nope, another proof you're probably from america. it is important to those who go on working as scientists. it is not that important for those who become teachers in fucking elementary schools, that's for sure. but my point is that it is hardly important for getting a degree, where all the works you do are just compilations with no real scientific value anyway. your egyptology example is likely not the truth anymore because there should enough literature in english now but what matters and is my point is that before real scientific careers your works will almost certainly be compilations. some of the people i went to college with are in science now. maybe 2-3 of them. most who are employed work in primary and high schools, and are not doing science at all.
