The Democrats may be on the verge of flipping the Michigan State Supreme Court. Two open seats, one D and one R. Seats are technically nonpartisan, but judges are nominated by the political parties. With 81.99% of vote counted:

Part of me will refuse to accept the results because I KNOW that they have been frauded to death and thus the results should be invalidated. There is far too much fraud going on to actually take the results. The whole election at this point should be dropped this year and leave it to the house of representatives to sort this out in a more "fair-ish" way. I see Trump support everywhere but rarely Biden, I refuse to believe that most people voting for him arent either dead or here illegally.

My theory is that people are catching the flu, getting COVID tested, coming up positive because amplification, and thus the "second wave," even though it's really just the flu. I'm watching yesterday's Joe Rogan livestream of the election and his expert starts the stream off by predicting early high returns for Trump because Biden's voters are scared of the cough and will be doing mail-in. He keeps reminding them of the impending avalanche of mail-ins all the way through the evening... which is exactly what happened.

I'm blown away that so many votes are mail-in though. Are they all seriously still scared of going outdoors?

If we're lucky, a "Novel Coronavirus" will only pop up every 4 years in time for the presidential election, but I have a feeling they probably are going to make it every two years at least to secure the midterm elections as well. But who knows, they might just have them on a rolling basis, year after year to keep all the swine in line. Welcome to Hell, only the dead may know peace from this rustling.

Can't speak for elsewhere, but in Michigan, people likely preferred absentee voting more than usual because Governor Whitmer decided her mandatory mask orders don't apply to polling places because requiring masks to vote would be some sort of disenfranchisement even though anyone can request an absentee ballot without giving a reason. Those with health issues and are otherwise more susceptible to COVID have decided it's not worth the risk of waiting in line to vote in a presidential election that tends to have larger (>50%) turnout than any other. -- especially when there's no way to know how many unmasked people waiting in line are either asymptomatic or simply don't care if they pass any germs they may have on to others through their poor public hygiene.

Think about it: a Michigan resident walking their dog at 3 AM after a night shift must wear a mask outside under penalty of law even if nobody else is around thanks to the statewide health department orders which likely supplant county-issued ones that were more permissive and sensible. Go to wait in line to vote however, and nobody has to wear masks even when they're standing six feet apart (or less if distancing rule enforcement was lax in polling places) in the confined spaces of an enclosed building or hallway.

There's not enough for this.

The one hope we'll have is if the Supreme Court starts looking into the "convenient" ballots in the swing states.

Welp, lockdowns will either really here to stay or they will "conveniently" disappear after Sleepy Joe gets into office, the former is what he promised but I doubt he wants to boycott his own fucking government so the latter may be what happens.
