General Discussion for Virtual Youtubers / Vtubers / Chuubas - it's okay to be a simp for 2D, just don't thirstpost.

Are you sure you guys aren't reading into it too much? I mean, if it's just that it was awkward between the two, that doesn't mean they hate each other. Maybe I'm reading the vibe of this thread wrong. Also, during the Among Us stream that was recently made, Kanata went in blind and felt like she was ruining the collab for not practicing, so she broke down in the middle of the stream.

Oh no, a lot of people read way too hard into this, despite Coco a few months after being totally okay with Moona and even trying to help her and Artia unfuck their Ark game.

I don’t think any of them hate each other, but I think there are a few sets who realize that collabing together isn’t necessarily entertaining to watch. I know Marine and Luna also don’t seem to click very well.
Oh no, Marine loves Luna. They bounce off each other very well, they just bounce off like Tom and Jerry.

You are probably right but it is funnier to say Coco hates Moona. It was a divisive stream where half of people watching thought both were having fun and quoting the things Coco and Moona were saying. The other half felt like it was awkward as Moona did really understand Coco at points.

Also, Bungus, Kanata just does that. She puts way too much pressure on herself. If you're a fan you sadly gotta live with it. Polka's the "too much self pressure" of gen 5. Poor dear has always wanted a Western fanbase, now has Western kouhais to try and bond with, but after the first Among Us collab took some words on 5ch way too harsh and was about about it for a few days.

About this Moona Coco thing, I think it almost everything about the personalities.

From the little I have seen of Moona she seems slow on the uptakes or cues, which clashes heavily with coco, and also a bit of a communication difficulties.

That isn't to say they hate each other, more that certain personalities don't make for good colabs.

Oh shit, what did 5ch even say?

Also off topic but i really appreciate seeing you be so knowledgeable about what goes on behind the scene somehow.
They said she was a bit too loud and over powering when communicating. They weren't wrong, Polka is Japanese person with the spirit of an American, but her HoloEN kouhais are all a varying degree of introverted. The wording itself wasn't even that bad, especially for 5ch, but the problem is this meant a lot to Polka and it cut her deeper than it should've.

Also, thank you, I spend a lot of time learning Hololive and even some people and groups outside of it. I have managed to stay saner than most.

That's pretty much it. Moona works well with Pekora because of Pekora's personality and tempo (I lack a better word for like, how Pekora's natural rhythm and processes are.)

Sadly Pikamee is collabing with artemis

I thought it had something to do with being lesbians.
You ain't wrong, broheim. The real definition is that it's used to denote a wholesome moment, but with the fact that most of the performers of hololive are women, it's mostly just yuri bait. Pretty sure the guys have it as well but those fall under the purview and definition of moments of bromance.

One example I can think of involving the hololive girls that isn't really between each other but still falls under wholesome and is thus "teetee" would be Rushia's brother defending her from bullies and potential predators. If you ever hear Rushia talk about the guy it is nothing but praise and respect for looking out for her.

She memed about it the next day where she basically didn't talk for 5 minutes straight during Mario Kart (I think) and the entire thing was "If I talk louder than a whisper I end the stream."

Also, Polka's loudness is (mostly) an act. She's very bubbly and energetic when with her friends, probably because she's the type of person who wants everyone to have a good time. I haven't been privy to her members-only streams but she has promoted them as a way to see beneath the mask and get a glimpse of who she really is. Even outside of those, she's let the mask slip a bit and even just doing surface level research, Polka is damn smart and honestly has skyrocketed to one of my favorites just because the girl has respect for books. She wanted to learn how to be a bookbinder in the age of digital media simply because she likes how books feel that much, and has a lot of respect for artists of all types. She may put on a clown face but when beneath all of that she's actually a very introspective and somewhat melancholic person.

Either her or Noel is a brocon. People aren't sure which, not many suspect both are.

Kanata has the problem that she was a Honorary Venezuelan (there are several streams when she talk how poor as shit was and believing the maximum of luxury is Sushi and a Nintendo Switch a thing i have seen here) she is always a little defeatist, believing that she is better as being Coco's lackey, she is getting recently even whe she still doesnt know how to remove the kid content thing from her channel

Polka told her simps that the reason she likes to do a lot of crazy stuff is because she think her gig on Hololive is going to end badly like her gig when she was Nobuhime (not on those words but you read between lines) there was a moment where her manager has to told her to tone down a little because she was throwing so much content that a burnout was inevitable
