I think this election has proven - hopefully to everyone - that the people calling for this are a tiny, tiny minority. This will demoralize the left (who genuinely believe they're on muh right side of history) and give the rest of us some modicum of hope that it really is a tiny cabal of lunatics running everything and deciding the party line.

If this doesn't tip people over and open their eyes to reality - well, as I said, we've been fucked the entire time and we just didn't know it yet. We'll have been dead men walking this whole time. Might as well hunker down for 3 decades of Big Brother.

Just think of it this way: the entire Media/BigTech/Urban Dem machine threw EVERYTHING they could at Trump for four years, and even pulling out all of their big guns at the end of the day the best they could manage was an incredibly close near-split. I think that bodes well for the soul of the nation, because even if Trump loses, the bear is now more wary of its surroundings than before.

I tell ya what this inspired me to do.

My manager is a Republican and worked as an election poll worker in his state (won't say where, but we live in different states). I talked to him earlier today and he said he didn't notice anything shady at his polling booth.

That said, the way things have gone today, its kind of inspired me to do my part and become an election poll worker myself for the next election. I live in a true blue state, so I doubt I'll encounter much, but one way I can help prevent shadiness is participating myself because I know I'm not going to do anything against the rules, and I am more than willing to call out when I see it.

At this point, I wouldn’t be surprised if things go full shitshow:

-Trump gains Arizona at the last second
-He keeps Pennsylvania and wins 270...
-...until suddenly, on the 12th or whenever, NC magically finds just enough votes to steal it
-Things manage to get ten times worse then they are even now

You get a full week of Trump back in the lead before everything’s in contest again.

I disagree with this. I think most of my lefty friends/relatives, especially those 60+, believe CNN is gospel. So when CNN says that Facebook needs to do more to censor "misinformation", they believe it.

So, to recap:
  • theres been obvious voter fraud but no one knows if the states will give a shit or if anyone will support trump on his crusade
  • recounts and lawsuits might get stuck in government limbo but maybe not
  • the supreme court rather not handle this but would likely favor trump if so
  • the one time there was a similar situation mundane al gore was able to contest shit just fine but it was a completely different ballpark there
  • everyone is tense because nobody can predict shit and all we can do is wait

The media must die. Its causing a lot of trouble if CNN ceased to exist then your friends would cease taking them at their word.
