It's true. The only actual losers this election are the "woke" folks.Regardless of who wins the president, Republicans are really the ones coming out on top. They made huge gains in the House and are keeping the Senate, with SCOTUS being conservative likely for the next 20-30 years at minimum. The polls and media have been proven completely and utterly useless, and cannot be used as a voter intimidation tactic any more.
The southern strategy is dead after nearly 60 years and Trump killed it. He brought in more minority support than any republican in recent history. Trump has completely ideologically shifted the conservative party and they will need to hold his platform to maintain power, which they know. No more useless wars, no more racist policies, no more selling out American workers to foreign interests. Gone are the days of the Ohio-Florida swing elections, welcome are the days of the Michigan-Wisconsin-Arizona swing elections.
If it wasn't for the mail in voting, the historic voter turnout, and the virus, the election would have easily been a Trump landslide. Just as the tea party gave way to Trump, Trump will give way to the next generation of conservatives. Walkaway is real and it is only going to get worse for the democrats as their (presumably) elected buffoon is going to make even more of an ass out of their party than 4 years of Russiagate ever could. With candidates like John James doing as well as they did, the conservative voter base will only grow more diverse as identity politics will be ripped from the cold, corporate hands of the Democratic Party.
Conservative control of congress is only going to grow in 2022 as the expected conservative backlash shows up in the polls. If Biden is going to get anything done at all it will need to be in his first two yearsi After that, he will be a lame duck if he isn't already one as soon as he swears in. In 2024 Biden won't be fit to run, he's simply too old. He will either step down, sending the democrats scrambling to find the next person to run, or he will attempt to run again and give the republicans a near sure-fire victory at replacing him with their next big guy. (Ted Cruz? Ben Carson? Kanye West??? Some G A M E R G A T E P O L I T I C I A N ???? Who knows...) That is, if Trump swallows his pride and steps down, allowing the next generation to play.
Even the easiest issues that democrats hold over people's heads are slipping out of their hands. 3 states legalized marijuana and Joe Biden is against it. The dumb stoner vote is completely gone in Arizona and Michigan, and will only continue shrinking as more states legalize. Race issues like prison reform and police reform have been handed over to the republicans. Trump signed the first step act, correcting the racist fuck-up that Biden penned in the first place in the 90s. Democrats have one of the most heavy-handed prosecutors in the county a heartbeat away from the presidency.
The far left might be the biggest losers of all this election. Joe Biden is so moderate that he legit could have run as a Republican if it wasn't for his name. Any hope the far left had for leftism being implemented on the federal level is gone for the next decade. Joe Biden will do nothing for their agenda, and a Republican will likely sweep him out of office in 2024. The democrats have been moving away from class-based politics, and the conservatives have been lifting the mantle. The only ghost of a hope they have is Kamala should the 25th amendment be invoked. However, if this DOES happen, she will be completely stonewalled by the conservatives and cause an even bigger red wave as the conservatives get riled up to hell and back as they feel duped and cheated.
As a libertarian-conservative, it would have been nice to see Trump win. However, I am happy with the results overall, and think that this election outlined a bright future for the republican party. I can only hope that Joe will not completely lose it in his time in office, as a Harris presidency is the only thing that truly scares me about this election.
Pretty much. Regardless of what happens, the other side will think the president's illegitimate and will further the divide/civil war that's already brewing pretty bad. What if the Trump lawsuits and calls to stop counting are going to be the left's reason why Trump's an illegitimate president if he wins, the same way the mail-in votes would be the right's if Biden wins?
Is it possible that all sides are being taken for a ride here? Have I turned into the big-brained centrist? Was that kraut right about staring into the abyss?
With a GOP Senate and a very unfavorable map for the midterms in 2022, Biden and his mystery meat sidepiece will be lucky to get a budget through and maybe fill a few seats in the Cabinet. In this case divided government is a good thing.I am legitimately terrified that Biden is in cognitive decline and is unfit to lead the country.
Does anybody have any stellar Biden speeches I can watch from the past year to make me feel like we aren't completely fucked?
Well I got businesses to run and 2020 hasnt been kind to us. I cant watch the entertainment because Im an unwilling part of it.Pretty much. Regardless of what happens, the other side will think the president's illegitimate and will further the divide/civil war that's already brewing pretty bad.
Just grabs some snacks and watch the entertainment.
Dude check out the results for the California ballot measures. All the woke shit was BTFO'd. https://www.politico.com/2020-election/results/california/ballot-measures/It's true. The only actual losers this election are the "woke" folks.
This. Trump spergs ITT should keep in mind that a Biden presidency would be even less memorable than Donald's.With a GOP Senate and a very unfavorable map for the midterms in 2022, Biden and his mystery meat sidepiece will be lucky to get a budget through and maybe fill a few seats in the Cabinet. In this case divided government is a good thing.
Hurricanes are a vortex. It's entirely reasonable to think that if you can blow the vortex apart the hurricane dies. People seized on the word "nuke" to make a big deal out of it.It's funny how people who like the guy who wanted to nuke a hurricane think Biden has cognitive issues
No matter who they rule in favor of, the fallout is going to be hilarious. Only difference would be who will be sperging out.Now all we need is the court bitchslapping Trump down like they did Gore and the party will really start.
Nah I'm tired of Raspberry Kool-Aid and want Cherry this time.I think it would be more funny if the court bitchslap Biden, Biden protests, his blood pressure go skyhigh and collapse. Kamala step in and goes on a tantrum.
And that's a win for me.It's true. The only actual losers this election are the "woke" folks.
I was watching but not recording. I mean, why would I think I needed to. :/I wasn't watching at that moment and neither were plenty of people. If you have a clip of the stream where it happened, the exact minute or two when it happened, or more evidence than some twitter posts it would make for a better case. I don't disagree and think WI should be investigated anyways since they have a very abnormal voter turnout, but I personally cannot corroborate a "100k Biden votes in a minute" claim no matter where I look and haven't seen concrete proof besides hearsay originating from tweets. I want to believe in shenanigans.
Yeah. Like I said Cruz and that Mexican chic from WA would probably have taken a nasty shit on the dems.To people claiming the republicans came out on top, do you think there could've been a different candidate who would've swept?
I'm very partial to a Rand Paul 2024 ticket tbh
