"geospatial" cannot apply to tech, it's specifically a term used for information, more concretely it's just a very autistic way of saying "data which has been georefferenced", with "georefferenced" meaning it has a defined geological possition. For example literally any map at all would be "geospatial" information.
Yeah saying they're using "geospatial tech" is like saying they're using "red sounds". Literally makes no sense at all no matter how you look at it. Unless I guess if they mean tech from the business named "GeoSpatial" (note the weird caps), if you're wondering, GeoSpatial, as their name would tell you, makes maps. For that they got some cool cameras and drones it's some real 3d fancy ass mapping software, but their drones are the "RC chopper with a big fat camera" stuck on it, they were made to get good angles of buildings and shit like that certainly not anything stealthy enough to be used for espionage, so yeah that'd be mediocre at best for surveilance. (Note: mediocre if they use the cameras and not the drones. If they used the drones it'd be downright awful. Imagine you're trying to commit election fraud and suddently you hear a fucking RC chopper on steroids behind you...)
