I don't see a way out of it tbh.
They've culled all possibility for resistance on the larger platforms (Facebook, Twitter, Reddit... ect). And nobody seems to want or be able to foot the capital for a viable competitor. It's only a matter of time before they start legislating to shut down sites like Kiwifarms by twisting the laws on hate speech.
A lot of third world countries end up only really having internet access through Facebook. All of the carebears out there will want the West to be like that as well. They want the internet closed and controlled.
The only path for us is to take up the mantle of the old, aka the
phone phreakers. Null has made it clear there is no reason to keep a site like this up when it's no longer possible. The only solution will be to communicate through holes in the system. And slowly, day by day, the people who know how to access those holes will dwindle. And eventually history will be easily rewritten by the ones now in power. They've already succeeded in brainwashing half the population on lies (like the fine people hoax).
The walls are closing in. They've been closing in for years and we've all felt it. The internet has continued to grow smaller and smaller year after year. I think the time to educate yourself on more obscure methods of communication is now, and to archive as much of the truth as you can, even if it's a futile effort. Don't allow yourself to be brainwashed, never allow yourself to say "I don't know what the truth is anymore". You know what the truth is, even if nobody else will remember.
I've long come to accept that this period in time was simply the brief wild west of communication, and that time has now come to an end. As the walls continue to close in i'll likely head further and further up to the Canadian North, where the land is still wild and untamed, and the SJW's howl's are far off in the distance, and all I hear is the sound of the running water, the wind against the trees, and the ringing in my ears.

Hopefully i'll die of old age before the systems of control can reach me there.
