Lol, it would be great if they sue the actual culprit, Donald Trump, for his repeated refusal to invoke the Insurrection Act.

Sovereign immunity. You also can't sue over a President not doing a discretionary act. The only reason Seattle/Portland is in potential trouble is they didn't just limit themselves to doing nothing. They were actively giving out riot supplies to the rioters. States and state officials are also generally immune to lawsuits for mere negligence and actually have to do something active to violate your rights to breach this immunity.

I actually think that they should apply a different set of rules to black neighborhoods, officially establish them as places where black people can do whatever they want, make sure everyone else knows to avoid going there. Then don’t respond to any calls of any sort inside that area. Let it be made clear to the residents that if they step a toe outside their zone, they are subject to laws again, just like always. And if they harbor fugitives who are wanted for crimes committed outside the nothing is a crime zone, then any manner of force can be brought in there. Of course this will also mean that those not living in the zone will be able to commit crimes inside the zone if they can get in, but it’s up to the residents to prevent that.

But I just think a community that has made it so clear they want no laws, no cops, no punishment for anyone who is of their skin color, should get to have their way. It’ll be like a reservation. They can take care of themselves, apply themselves some restorative justice, which means criminals apologize to victims for raping them since they were six years old and the victim is then scolded until s/he says s/he forgives them and then everybody goes back home to the victim’s mom’s house so the perp aka their stepdad can rape them some more, or better yet transformative justice, which means the criminal doesn’t even get a talking to while the victim is brainwashed into thinking what happened to them wasn’t even a crime and that not wanting to be raped by their stepdad is really just faulty thinking on their part that they need to interrogate and recant from.

And tbqh if residents of the inner city reservation don’t want their kids forced to go to school, ok. No benefits, no services, y’all need to take care of yourselves. It’s not like you were paying any taxes other than sales taxes anyway.

something like 70% of blacks think they have enough policing or want more, it's that remaining 30% that wants less. it's not something the black community on the whole wants, it's the stupid fucking communists (socialists) screeching like they're the majority. ship them out to the middle of nowhere, texas, build a 200 foot tall concrete wall that goes all the way down to the bedrock, and let them have at it the way they want things to be run.

It's communists and criminals. The communists want it for ideological reasons and the criminals want it because they don't like police stopping them from committing crimes against the rest of the populace.

Why punish Texas like that? It's already suffering from all of the Californians that have been coming in unchecked for years.

big, open, and it's not alaska where exposure kills fairly easily. i want them to suffer and die at each other's hands, not nature's. i guess burdening california with them would work out too, but too much of the state is borderline desert.

This is what I was thinking too. We can get over the possible cries of discrimination by saying its autonomy akin to the reservations. The neighborhood can then hire all the mental crisis experts they want but with no participation from the rest of the country.

To be fair, the homeless can be extremely shitlordy. The worst instances of racism, sexism, and homophobia I've ever seen came from vagrants. This is why it's hilarious to me when the woke (pretend to) care about the homeless. They're natural enemies, and it's not like the woke ever lay off someone with obvious mental illness.
