Take note people: "hehe is only one line of opinion allowed here this isn't your personal bubble" is the hallmark of a low-effort contrarian who's "breaking up the circlejerk" (i.e. annoying people trying to actually discuss things).

I'd ask big ups liquid richard what exactly is he bringing into the discussion, but it'd obviously be a wasted effort.
I've mostly been capturing/monitoring the salt but also giving some well needed reality checks. The conspiracy theories are running wild, and they could use them.

OK, this is too far for me. You think people are going to starve to death on a major scale in the USA, a country with over 30% obesity rate. Hollywood Hulk Hogan has a point to be honest, some of the right wingers here are crazy. This is not Ethiopia.

And I really don't like Biden either and I can't stand Harris.
Point taken, but ACKTCHUALLY....
farmers had to destroy excess crops and livestock due to the pandemic and lockdowns. An extended lockdown will eventually decimate the supply of livestock for burgers and tendies, potatoes for fries, and corn for sweetening Coke.

The south will not rise again over another lockdown. It will cause a terrible depression though and burn what little mandate Biden/Harris have for their government.
I'm not talking about a civil war. I was talking about another Great Depression. I can't wait to see all the TDS complain about a Depression.

Ironically for me taking issues with the nonsensical doomers, I am probably one of the more skeptical people here of Trumps actual chances. And part of it is stuff like this, the brazenness of it is awe inspiring and refuge in audacity is a real thing.

The only reason I'm siding with the doom and gloom is because Republicans would actually have to make a damning argument to prove fraud and this would in turn implicate almost the entirety of the Left because of how knee-deep they are in this. I simply cannot see this happening. I'm not even sure I want this to be the case. I mean seriously. That would mean they would have lost to a guy they had to cheat against. The same guy they unjustly impeached, defenestrated with both this (assuming he gets his way in court) and "Russian-collusion" nonsense, and supposedly killed over 200k Americans. You shouldn't be able come back from this.

lockdown that destroys the economy will most likely kill off younger and healthier people due to starvation and suicide.
No, because they'll create socialist programs that increase people's reliance on the government (and the Democrats). Then more and more demographics will become like poor blacks: reliant on voting Democrat to keep their government aid coming.

If people can’t afford to buy enough food during a lockdown and it dwindles more and more, starvation can eventually happen. Especially if lockdowns force many people out of work and force them to live on their savings. Many people don’t have a minimum of $500 in savings, let alone ample food storage. The starvation wouldn’t be immediate, but over time it can happen.
“Starvation” is a little absurd. The real problem the US has is food deserts - entire sections of major cities where the only food suppliers are convenience stores and fast food - which results in mass obesity and malnutrition.

People won’t die from lack of food, just die early from preventable causes and the nation’s workforce/military will be weak and fat. So no change overall, just gets worse from the lockdown.

During Rajoi term we saw cases of death by starvation on high homelessness areas here in SPAIN, and our programs for free food delivery and social security are far, FAR better than yours, and we export way more food per capita too. Fuck, even then some would say we got it easy, Eastern Europe got it far worse during the prior depression.

Bitch it's real. You Burgers haven't seen a real crisis for a loooooong time now.

Over 100 pages behind, but I swear to god if one more person says the lockdowns were over Trump and that they'll be immediately lifted and memory-holed once Biden is inaugurated...

You can't have a reset of anything anymore. Vital non-renewable resources have been used. The eco system has been damaged. People have rooted themselves into areas of the planet and can't be moved cause of culture and ideology. The idea that you can just reset anything is a stupid and dangerous dream. This isn't a videogame. Actions have consequences and anyone thinking otherwise is fucking retarded.

I'm just going to drop out, keep my head down and acquire as much old media to enjoy while I keep an eye on the courts. Worst case scenario, I save up enough money and find a way out of here.

The question would be whether or not I'd flee to some Third World or Second World place where US dollars go a long way, just flee to the rural countryside and live with some older relatives of mine, or clock out totally and go somewhere else entirely.

That would all depend on how the court cases ultimately play out and whether or not the GOP in Congress will have enough spite to circumvent Biden/Harris as much as possible while they still can.

If Trump is smart, he'll use his final months in office to order drone strikes on Three Gorges Dam and get Barr to issue federal arrest warrants to have Jack Dorsey detained
It will catch up to wherever you run to eventually. Your only option is to fight.

Those government programs only function because of the middle class. If more in the middle class become poorer, eventually it will implode because there wouldn’t be enough providers compared to users. Take away the middle class, and government programs won’t work.

No - a few aberrant GOP people have supported, everyone else turned.
Mitch McConnell AND Kevin McCarthy have come out in support. That is the second and third most powerful republicans int he nation. Senators Cruz and Graham have full throatily supported him. Only Santorum and one other guy I forgot the name of have been big names to actually hit at Trump over this. Everyone else has remained quiet and noncommittal.

They really don' need that damning of an argument since it is extremely straightforward. In WI, all they have to appeal to is the state law saying that mail in ballots received after 9 PM on election day are invalidated or otherwise not counted. In PA, they just have to appeal to the fact that the PA Supreme Court's extension of the period to recieve mail-in-ballots was unconsitutional (because it violates the Clause in the Constitution giving state legislatures the power to determine how their elections work) and hence the PA legislature's limit of 8 PM on election day is upheld. I'm not so sure about MI, but I guess appealing to fact that they believe there was fraud and they want a recount or something might help. In Georgia they're doing recounts that's good. This shit isn't in the bag, but it does generally look good for Trump.
