Be better than them. If everything is contested and the process is upheld and Biden still wins, we should give him the benefit of the doubt that the left never gave Trump. It is simply four years, likely less with Harris stepping in midway.
Politics ain't black and white... or blue and red. You vote for one guy one day and it is never that guy who gets into office the next day. Candidate Trump vs President Trump for instance.
Yeah, I think we still are probably headed for a balkanization event. But I prefer to support the elected leader even I did not vote for him. He can lose that good faith, and arguably Biden has not earned it over 40 years in politics. But I respect the process as a whole and genuinely think most of us are far, far better than the people who judged Trump as the devil day one.
If you start negative, you will end negative. But if you start positive you have the ability to cast a more accurate assessment. Be the change you want to see in others. Like I said in 2016, it is just four years. You cannot enact massive sweeping legislative reform in that time without an uproar. Trump couldn't tear down the US in 4 years, no matter how much the left wanted proof of him doing that. Biden can't do the same.
