Ballot duplication, she's been handed a stack of ballots that used too light of a pen to be read by the tabulation machine and is filling them in with a darker readable pen for the scanner. She likely has a stack that's all the same and so she just does the same thing over and over.

This is so the votes can be more easily added to the tabulation, rather than allowing someone access to change the final count.

Maybe the dems were trying to throw this election so they pushed him through their primaries. Trump has been good for the democrats; it gave their base something to be riled up about. Now, for 4 years, Joe Biden is going to represent the democratic party. Joe "I don't want my kids growing up in a racial jungle" Biden. The democrats are screwed in 2022 and screwed harder in 2024.

They’re mad because the polls were telling them that they were going to walk away with this thing. If (probably, but still if) Biden is the one taking the oath of office on January 20th, then this was a surgical strike by the American electorate, they took out Trump at the top of the ticket and pushed back against wokeness down ballot.

Most subtly, the Republicans cleaned up at the state level. It’s bad to lose state houses in any year that ends in zero because that’s when redistributing happens. Fuck, the Republicans have a trifecta in NH of all places now. Even if Trump loses, and he probably will? I’ll have gotten everything I wanted out of this election.

Yeah, I think we still are probably headed for a balkanization event. But I prefer to support the elected leader even I did not vote for him. He can lose that good faith, and arguably Biden has not earned it over 40 years in politics. But I respect the process as a whole and genuinely think most of us are far, far better than the people who judged Trump as the devil day one.

If you start negative, you will end negative. But if you start positive you have the ability to cast a more accurate assessment. Be the change you want to see in others. Like I said in 2016, it is just four years. You cannot enact massive sweeping legislative reform in that time without an uproar. Trump couldn't tear down the US in 4 years, no matter how much the left wanted proof of him doing that. Biden can't do the same.

At any rate, the light dusting of actual tough men is not enough to create a savage guerilla force overnight, if ever. Furthermore, a Union occupation would find not a united, hostile alien country, but a few diehards poking about the woods, a great many highly indignant civilians ready to send a strongly worded letter to their congressman, and mostly indifferent, worried Americans wishing they could go back to the good old days, complying with US forces with at least some sense that they were doing their patriotic duty.

It didn't answer in 1865, and it has far less chance of working now. Secession might succeed against a crumbling power like USSR 1991 or against isolated, nearly friendless Serbia 1991-???, and it could certainly work against the limp-wristed acquiescence of 2014 Britain, but if the federal government as it exists today has will to keep a state in the Union, then so it shall.

I’ll agree that the government could stop a succession if they wanted, and likely would. They’d simply use force to conquer certain areas, if they could convince their bitchy welfare queen American soldiers to actually shoot people who look and sound like them, but the shit state of the American military is autistic sperging for another time. The point is that they could subjugate the south through force but they don’t have the manpower to OCCUPY it. Too big, too many people and most importantly too much existing infrastructure. It’s a lot easier to make IEDs when you can just buy what you need at dollar general. Also your“fat effeminate bitch” is accurate inside the hive cities, but not so much outside them aside from the fat part. Can’t be a pussy when you, drive a semi, shine, cut rock, chase cows, sling dope, or run machinery that can and will kill you for a living.

But I’ll admit I’m probably giving too much credit to both sides here. The likely scenario of occupation would go as thus: they’d occupy the cities and stop there and declare victory. People out in the counties would go “meh” and keep right on doing what they are doing. They’d send the occasional forays out into the country side where nothing would happen but the odd fire fight resulting in a few dead or wounded soldiers and rednecks alike, or the soldiers getting their shit jacked by the more industrious rednecks and being to ashamed to report it. Rinse and repeat. You can’t spend over 100 years fucking with the feds without learning the most lucrative way to do it.

was basically senile, and half past dead before campaigning for the job. It's highly doubtful if Trump will
be victorious, but if some twist ending occurs, I look forward to the endless howls of soy despair...
