The type of spergs varies, though. You don't see far right spergs on Reddit anymore (though they used to have subreddits like /r/altright many years ago), just commie ones. Similarly I've only ever seen a couple of commies on this site.
Considering that conservative views are pretty much censored everywhere, places like Kiwi Farms gets more conservatives on average due to this. If places like Twitter, Reddit, Facebook, and Instagram didn’t block conservative views so much, we probably wouldn’t be seeing a heavy influx of them on sites that at least try to not censor them. Frankly, I’d rather everyone get a right to say what they want and have it be challenged by others openly. That alone would do more to curb extremism than anything else. The more people feel like they’re being attacked, the more victimized they feel, thus leading to more extreme measures being taken because of the blatant attack, rather than just letting ideas go their own way and be challenged by the populace. If anything, I blame big tech and and the MSM for creating a rise in extremism, seeing as they will censor anyone that goes against them.

Do you think Trump should pardon Julian Assange to spite the neocons before he goes?
Yeah. Snowden too.
I’m new here but why are there only republicans posting here? Seems on reddit main politics sub there are only Democrats. Maybe just difference in site users? Apologies if someone addressed this before. I keep trying to find a site with a mix of views to see the debating but that doesn’t seem to be happening
For some reason the Republicans mostly came over to this thread while there are Bidentards gloating on the Doomsday thread.

Thread bans are a thing, actually. and Null bans accounts all the time.
I don't think anyone gets banned for trashing Trump or being left wing on this site, so there's not political censorship. There are whole threads of liberals here (and some of the stuff they say is pretty funny, speaking as someone who's definitely not a liberal). Despite our differences I've always got on very well with @AnOminous in particular.

"I am not a republican," "I am not a lefty," "I am not a centrist"

You fools. These denials will not get you far. Only those with alignments from this chart can achieve absolute political enlightenment and superiority.

@big ups liquid richard

I didn't say there was no moderation or banning, only that you never see it for political discourse. If you get banned it's because you're being incredibly annoying/retarded in general, have posted something like CP, are actively shitting up a thread in some way, etc. If I was a TES surfferer and I shit up a thread with my beliefs I would get banned. If I was a woketard and did the same I'd get banned.

Thread bans are usually for people who are offering nothing to the discussion on purpose or for people who derail a thread.

Example: A thread asking people what starter pokemon they prefer, Bulbasaur, Squirtle or Charmander and 2 people start talking about jews. Those people will be threadbanned.

Threads on Celebrities are ban. The only reason Tara Strong got one is for being a voice actress who is not generally known in public and having TDS so bad that she got someone fired for different political views. And let's not go into Weeb wars

Too bad. She was good as the voice of Bubbles and Dil Pickles.

I was listening to the Spiked podcast. They're basically ex Trot Libertarians sympathetic to both Brexit and Trump's supporters, even if Trump himself is a bit to gauche for their tastes.

They said that Trump had alleged fraud 'with as far as we can tell no evidence' and that was bad but the elite alleged fraud in both the Brexit referendum and Trump's 2016 win.

And then it occured to me. Only someone willing to sit up all night watching this and getting a non MSM source of news like here would even know about the evidence. Tweets containing evidence got yeeted within minutes. The MSM won't mention it, just like they didn't mention Hunter Biden's laptop or the evidence that China bribed him. Or they won't mention anything that damages the narrative that the MSM want to push on anything.

And you think if even people like Spiked don't know about the evidence who does? It reminds me of Orwell's worry that 'objective truth was fading out of the world'

It's like the final, crushing, victory of the post-modernist left. There's no objective truth as to how many votes there were. There's just the number the Democrats claim and all other claims or evidence of fraud will get memory-holed.

And as someone pointed out you can see how this will affect the Republican Party by how it affected the Conservatives. The media made a great fuss about how the Conservative Party was seen as 'the nasty party' and they needed to 'detoxify the brand' by becoming a complete clone of Blair's Labour, apart from support for the invasion of Iraq which had destroyed Blair. Cameron famously adopted Blair's pro-Europeanism, his economic policies, his support for Europe, and his relaxed - to put it mildly - attitude to mass immigration. All of this was because the media - who liked all those policies - told him that's what the polls said the public wanted.

The public clearly did not though - hence Brexit which forced the robotically pro-EU Cameron to quit, May to take over to try to filibuster it, and finally Boris.

I could see something like this happen to the Republicans. They'll become the Democrats less the most obviously insane and unpopular policies the Democrats have adopted. And each election they'll lose because of fraud and the fundamentally unpopular nature of those policies. And then the media will say 'Looks like the Republicans need to do some more detoxifying of their party to get rid of the stain Trump left'. Meanwhile the Democrats will move further and further to the left and burrow deeper and deeper into the state.

Blair set up a partisan Supreme Court in the UK which rules in favor of Blairite policies and very much against any non-Blairite ones. He signed up to the European Convention on Human Rights which works much the same way. I think Brexit was the public finally getting sick of being told they couldn't have the policies they wanted by the likes of Cameron and May because of the EU.
Franco did nothing wrong, fuck Tankies.

The biggest thing to remember is that when the deadlock continued, complete with Tory Wets still trying to destroy Brexit Boris had enough and yeeted the fucking lot of them out of the party, cutting off any central party support and killing stone cold dead the so-called "independant conservatives" who wanted to stand on Cameronian/Lib Dem style tickets that made them exactly the same as the other parties bar the colour of their rosette.

There's no sign of that being done to the Republicans and their RINOs.

The Tories really are a bit of a misnomer when it comes to being "conservative". They're something of a chamelion electorally as it has remained a healthy wide-tent party that sees the rise and fall of various factions, usually over a period of a decade or two.

Brexit caused a serious shift in the party between just 2016 and 2019, with the MPs going from majority-Remain to Majority Brexit over the two General Elections as candidates were either yeeted, changed, or older MPs retired to be replaced by more Pro-Brexit Tories. This has also seen a significant shift with the 2019 intake of the unexpected "Blue Ocean" in the North which gives the government and governing party a completely different tone. The 2019 Post-Brexit Tories are much more provincial than they were just a decade ago.

There's currently no signs the Republicans will do the same.

Actually celebrities can get threads

Kanye West, Shia Lebouf, Wil Wheaton, and Adam Sandler have threads.

The narrative that taking it to court is somehow attempting to pervert the election or cheat is really ramping up. How can taking something that looks dodgy to court and presenting the evidence for a decision to be made an attempt to cheat? If anything it's increasing the openness of the electoral process.
Once again, you make the mistake of assuming liberals don't play by Calvinball rules.

Which is why I find this thread much more interesting. Can visit any article on social media and see everyone sucking off Biden's decaying cock. Seeing a mix match of political takes in here is the stuff I enjoy seeing more then an echo chamber.

The only complaint I have in this thread is DSP or CWC isn't in the running for the poll. :(
