With people’s faith in all media shot after this, those celebrities better hope they saved their money well, because if the plebs can’t afford to pay for what they churn out, they’ll be forced to find other work. Optimistic, but they are part of the problem.
They really are. They are at fault too for the dividesion in this country.
This is way I was upset that The Rock and Taylor Swift became political.

Al Johnson has proven to be one of the most pathetic people who's ever acquired power in the world.

He's shit but I think that's a bit unfair. He's no Thatcher, Blair, or Churchill but I don't think he's as bad as May, Brown or Major. He's basically averagely shit, not exceptionally shit.

The lockdown is a fucking travesty but you can see how it happens. The PM is in a bubble of political Twitter and WhatsApp groups, grillings by MSM journos and briefings but very biased and dishonest 'experts' like Vallance and Whitty who know exactly how to make him do what they want and have the MSM journalists on their side. Falling for that makes him shit, but no more shit than any other Western leader who has fallen for it.

Hell, Trump fell for it too, and I'd put him quite a bit higher up than Boris in the world leader stakes, even if he's no Ronald Reagan.

I'd ask big ups liquid richard what exactly is he bringing into the discussion, but it'd obviously be a wasted effort.

You could always just ignore him once you've realized, correctly IMO, he's got nothing to contribute.

well they explain the 1800...
"
The reason some birth dates will display as 1/1/1800 is due to confidentiality reasons of the registered votes.
Usually this is for victims of domestic violence."

but that doesnt explain the 1854....

If they had any artistry to them they'd make it 1876, that being the most recent example of an election which went to shit due to Democrat faking ballots.

Incidentally, it's interesting how the state-level Republicans and people like Rubio are all repeating the pithy phrase 'all legal votes must be counted' and that 'irregularities need to be investigated' and 'all candidates have the right to challenge irregularities'.

I like this woman

She doesn't seem like the sort of person to allow shenanigans to be not be worried by her with terrier-like tenacity. She's the kind of person to confront an obviously dangerous and deranged criminal from taking 11 items down the '10 items or less' aisle when more cynical types would just let it slide. In this case that seems like an admirable character trait.

Thread bans are usually for people who are offering nothing to the discussion on purpose or for people who derail a thread.

Example: A thread asking people what starter pokemon they prefer, Bulbasaur, Squirtle or Charmander and 2 people start talking about jews. Those people will be threadbanned.
People have woken up. They know the truth about jews.

(((Nintendo)))

They call it whatever they want but voting straight Red ticket = Republican voter IMO. That's all the GOP cares about, the loyalty.
And Democrats don’t? They can’t be happy when they got the presidency, but effectively lost courts and Congress. Both parties depend on loyalty.

Mass media needs to die after this. Considering they are little more than propaganda, I have no reason to believe them on anything anymore. Not like I believed in them much in the first place, but my faith in media is at an all time low. Unless I get a direct source, and not some journalists parroting off their own beliefs as news, I have no reason to take them seriously. Primary sources are the way to go, not the MSM feeding you their take on a primary source, especially if it’s open to the public.
I know at least that the Washington Shitpost (my go-to for hatereading liberal opinions) isn't going anywhere, as it's propped up by Bezos and Beijing.

Don't worry, the mainstream media is being replaced by social media. Now instead of being told what to think, you are told what to think and prevented from communicating with others if you do not.
Good take. Social media allows them to know essentially what you think and they can also gauge reactions. They can see how long you view content, potentially how much you viewed (even read), and who you shared it with or talked about that topic with. There are so many potential datapoints to leverage that previously relied on polls or were just completely unknown.
I really wish public opinion would completely shift to "social media bad" but people have different views of what social media even is. Youtube isn't social media to most people and neither is Discord.

Propaganda will be a lot more effective when it's less noticeable on your facebook feed.

Seriously, what the fuck is going on? I've been going through emotions since Tuesday. Now my current feeling: What the fuck is going on? Just fucking end it already!

This is going all the way until December 14th (the hard deadline for the Electoral College), so pace yourself and enjoy the ride. There's five weeks left until the Election is over.

I don't expect the Supreme Court to save Trump. They'll deliver him maybe one victory in a safe that the Democrats know will go to them in a recount, and the rest they'll say the original count stands. This will be done to appease Antifa, who WILL go into Civil War mode if Trump remains in office. Unlike conservative militia playing soldier in the hills, Antifa has political and economic support well established already. Not enough to win a Civil War per se, but enough to actually do what some on this site wish they could do. Bombings, kidnappings, hacks. Trump would not have a happy second term.

This is why you do shit four years in advance, people. Trump should have pushed Voter ID in the first year, but nope. He had to have his Wall.

I don't think this will end anytime soon. It's not even about who is President in the long run. It's about whether you get a choice who is President or whether whatever dementia patient or Communist the Democrats nominate gets in automatically.

They better not. We need to stand up against those Antifa thugs at once

They actually don't, they're useful idiots for the left. As soon as the election happened Oregon deployed the national guard.

I could see something like this happen to the Republicans. They'll become the Democrats less the most obviously insane and unpopular policies the Democrats have adopted. And each election they'll lose because of fraud and the fundamentally unpopular nature of those policies. And then the media will say 'Looks like the Republicans need to do some more detoxifying of their party to get rid of the stain Trump left'. Meanwhile the Democrats will move further and further to the left and burrow deeper and deeper into the state.

Blair set up a partisan Supreme Court in the UK which rules in favor of Blairite policies and very much against any non-Blairite ones. He signed up to the European Convention on Human Rights which works much the same way. I think Brexit was the public finally getting sick of being told they couldn't have the policies they wanted by the likes of Cameron and May because of the EU.

that's a dangerous race to the bottom tho, in "how shit can we let it get before we try to turn the ship around". there are points of no return.
and you're forgetting one thing: the trust in the vote was still intact there. imagine what's gonna happen when you have a growing number of unhappy people with (in their mind or real) no outlet.
