I only used it to level up in Forza Horizon 4 in order to get free wheelspins.

I never really actually watched the streams. If they had put out a Roku app I might have used it more for when I wanted some background noise.

A few weeks after the shutdown people are still butthurt, even though some got partnered quick at Twitch and are doing better financially. I regard Mixer like a Burger King I never went back to after seeing it was ghettofuxated, one day you drive by and it's boarded up.
Oh well, no loss.

I gave up on being logged into Twitch to see that hot skelly spoop because even lurking was enough for her obsessed reddit fans to bitch about it. She's 25 for fucks sake. Men can like her.

These streamers are ostensibly self employed businesspeople. You would think they would understand business, at least somewhat. The 'Microsoft should have kept it going but they have a quitter mentality!' takes are tiresome.

Tbh, I found out about Mixer only from the news when Shroud left Twitch for Mixer, I like his content, never gave a fuck about Ninja tho. IMHO Ninja is just a retard with way to much money.

I mostly use Xbone and they integrated it heavily into the system. You couldn't get away from it. It would let you know about anybody in your friends list streaming, etc
After figuring out in three months all it was good for was "Mixpot" giveaways and 24/7 music channels I only scouted lolcow talent which is how I found a particularly dspPhil-like female streamer. That and on launch Forza horizon 4 integration to speed up leveling up.
There was a good Nintendo music channel I miss

TBH, I think MIxer could have been a success if MIcrosoft would have pulled it thru, it would have taken years but I think the more alternatives to Rwitch the better. Since DrDisrespect is back on YouTube I only go to Twitch for Shroud and even that not so much anymore.
Maybe I start streaming one day to, just out of that fucking corona lockdown boredom.

With the Dmca mess going on, with another scandal waiting to erupt (not ready to post my findings yet) Daddy Warbucks Bezos is gonna go "fuck this shit" and pull the plug by next summer. There will still be streaming but Twitch is like the heyday of reality tv, like when everybody cared about "Survivor". It will shrink to much less annoying levels and everyone who's dying to be famous will have found some other get rich quick scheme. I'm hoping somebody's developing a new outdoor sport, myself.
Something on skates or ice skates involving a ball and goals would be fun, like that sport from Alita but more realistic

Should never habe been a thing to begin with. OTOH, hopefully they have some hirable skills when the whole streaming thing comes to an end, just recently I did read about some YouTuber who dropped out of college to become a youtube star, albeit he is very successful but still, I would have finished college first. Just to have a plan B.
