Keeping tabs? AOC suggests supporters make list of social media posts from 'Trump sycophants' to hold them complicit - Progressive congresswoman encourages cancel culture

One of the most progressive members of Congress asked whether anyone was keeping tabs on "Trump sycophants" posting favorable content of the president on social media.
Democratic New York Rep. Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez asked if any of her followers were archiving social media posts from supporters of President Trump to be used later as evidence of their "complicity" during his time in the Oval Office.
"Is anyone archiving these Trump sycophants for when they try to downplay or deny their complicity in the future?" Ocasio-Cortez asked in the tweet. "I foresee decent probability of many deleted Tweets, writings, photos in the future."

Ocasio-Cortez did not define exactly what she meant by "sycophant," or a person who fawns over another, before suggesting it would be a good idea to collect photos, writings, and posts made online that could be used "in the future" to mark someone's support for the president.
Republican Rep.-elect Marjorie Taylor Greene, a firebrand conservative who claimed a congressional victory in Georgia on Tuesday, shot back at Ocasio-Cortez, arguing that the New York sophomore socialist would "force Chinese-style censorship on the American people" if given the opportunity.
Although Twitter has prioritized the censorship of content it deems to promote "offline violence," no disclaimer had been placed on the tweet from Ocasio-Cortez calling for retribution and public shaming should Joe Biden, the apparent winner, officially claim victory in the presidential race.
Ocasio-Cortez, who has often been at odds with Trump during her two years on Capitol Hill, easily claimed reelection to Congress on Tuesday night and is well positioned to be among the most powerful figures in the Democratic Party in a Biden administration.
Trump's reelection campaign is already mounting a number of legal defenses in key battleground states, including Pennsylvania and Nevada, where efforts to count the vote have stretched over a number of days while calls of fraud have amplified among conservatives.

tl;dr AOC wants to make a list of Trump supporters so they can be "held accountable for their actions", aka made social pariahs/become unemployable/become victims of antifa vigilantes.

The relevant thread is here:

There's salt coming from both right and left wingers, so I highly suggest checking it out if you're into that.

Some others also jumped on the doxxing bandwagon:

Interestingly, an antifa posted about doing something like this days before the others did:

Perhaps this guy was their inspiration.

I personally found this hilarious - she said that such was her natural accent from the Bronx. I'm from the same neighborhood as her and literally never heard anyone talk with such an accent there.

And of course, I needn't mention the Green New Deal, complete with railroads across the ocean, that she later claimed was "preemptively released" and a right-wing hoax.

Honestly, it's amazing how out-of-touch and naive she is - all the while believing herself a genius beyond reproach, only ever met with derision from nazis. I sincerely believe there is no greater emblem of progressivism than Ms. Ocasio-Cortez, and I thank her for being that embodiment.

In all seriousness, any moralfagging about doxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxing while posting on kiwifarms dot net is objectively hilarious, but I do find a major party figurehead calling for organized retribution against political opponents somewhat concerning.

The difference with KF doxxing and communist doxxing is that we don't expect what we do to do much damage whereas these people actively try to hurt others. They often succeed. Cancel culture is sadly real.

Cancel culture is a myth, like Antifa and election fraud.

My friend actually took CCD with her. He doesn't remember much about her except that she was a tard as an 8 year-old too

Yeah my problem with this is less the doxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxing and more the fact that a member of our government, who is backed by a large group of insane people, is advocating organized retribution for not holding her political beliefs. Cancel culture is one thing, but when we've got actual government officials participating in "canceling" people it starts to be a much bigger problem.

Shit like this is why I'm terrified that the nation is teetering on the edge of a cliff that it won't be able to scale again without bloodshed on a scale that we haven't seen for nearly 160 years.
No clash would last very long. These people are fundamentally feminized in nature and expect a strongman to swoop in and save them the second someone fights back. It wouldn't play out that way.

They're not even talking about Trump voters they just mean Republican politicians who are supporting Trump's false and dangerous narrative that the election was rigged. This is a good thing, they should be held accountable for trying to undermine the electoral process.
my only two reasons to wish for zion don to miraculously win is to
1. see the young turks commit suicide on live stream
2. have Trump turn it back on dems tweeting that we should keep tabs no everyone who had supported the rigged system and tried to undermine the democracy

after that I am ok with him flooding USA with spics while pretending to be building the wall and MIGA to the limit

It was a problem when it first hit the ground and started gaining traction, shit always floats to the top. We only have this new problem now because it escalated from isolated incidents to a cultural norm and now it's working its way up to policy. What do you think the next step is going to be after that?

There are very few men who still have the capacity to actually fight without any inhibition. The only exceptions seem to be fully bred angry black men and the spics/1st gens who can still grow chest hair. Any malarkey in say, the inner cities of the south, I could see getting out of control.

Oh I'm not arguing that cancel culture isn't a problem in its own right. I've always been very against it. My point is that this is a step up the escalation ladder and it is absolutely one we should find worrisome.
