covid certainly is more serious than the "its just a flu bro" memes make it out to be, but indefinitely locking people in their homes and forcing half the country to grind to a complete standstill is not an appropriate response.

honestly the proper response would have been no lockdowns at all. remind people of the risks and dangers, try to combat supply shortages as fast as possible, maybe enforce masks on public property, and beyond that leave it up to the people themselves to make the decision to either take the risk and go outside, or not.

like, if you feel vulnerable to covid and want to lock yourself up in your basement for a year, nobody is stopping you from doing so. but forcing that shit on other people simply isn't right.

Regardless he had it ready made to post the instant the final results came in, and I'm not just talking about this specific video. If he was really that rooted in his beliefs and seething at the idea of Trump as president, I'd honestly have more respect for him if he completely owned it and bitched 24/7 about how Trump is the "worst thing evar".
