I’m a weak person. I don’t think I have the energy to withstand the next couple weeks as already the media and Hillary are giving me irrational rage and anger.
I have no illusion about Trump as a person but he was a bloody good President. Probably the best the country has seen for a long time and it’s a crying shame these evil cunts have done this to America. Think of the employment numbers, the economy, the peace deals, it’s all for nothing now and I hate it. This doesn’t just affect America, it affects everyone. You guys go to war and it’ll be our nations called upon to join you and lose our sons. You get attacked or your terror threat goes up? So does ours and MY FAMILY has leave cancelled and sent to guard places far away with guns. It’s personal to me, I don’t want war, I don’t want economic instability or unemployment, I don’t want people hurt for the decisions other people make in a country I don’t even live in. Covid has killed my own job, Trump was leading the fight against it and that’s all for nothing too right? Where America leads we follow, and I have a bad feeling about the road ahead. More lockdown, more misery.
God the media is jizzing all over themselves right now. I need a break. Laugh at me all you want to Biden fans, last laugh is on you though and Good Luck with President Kamala. You’ll need it.
Who's forcing you to even look at the media? If you know you can't mentally handle it, why the fuck are you watching? This is behavior you only see in domestic abuse victims that try to cling on to their own shitty marriages.
Knowledge is inoculation against fear and peril. You're resigned to the fact that you'll bend the knee without so much as a fight. If you really cared about your country and family, you'd put actual fucking pressure on your governments, you'd read up and actually prepare.
The sad truth is that war is inevitable and unavoidable. Even now we're undeniably in the midst of a ridiculously large-scale disinformation campaign spanning years, possibly to the early 20th century, eventually encompassing entire countries. Even though the light at the end of the tunnel seems far away you have no choice but to keep running towards it.
And you have no choice to. I have family members that have escaped communism and are horrified to see that the war they escaped from was not only covered up and incorrectly taught to generations of Americans but are actively vilified and misunderstood by other minority groups now with this current political climate; misrepresentations of the war persist in media and the American subconscious with so much no-one to argue otherwise due to media influencing and subverting the conflict every step of the way.
They came here with the small wish inside their hearts that someday that country might be rightfully restored as a democracy even accepting that they might never return, and ended up making new lives for themselves out of respect for the very values this country is throwing away at this very moment, knowing that social acceptance or financial security was never any sort of guarantee at all.
This isn't any time to look back. Acknowledge everything that's happened and move forward, no matter the cost. If you don't step up to bat and handle your own problems, no one else will.
This election isn't the end of it, by the way. No matter who comes out of this, there is still much work to be done, and considering the events set to play out on the world stage, life will change dramatically, but how it'll change is ultimately up to how you carry yourselves and the change you can impart on others.
