I’m reminded of this one video I saw of a guy talking to his liberal friend during one of the big fights on gun control happened, and he recorded him saying he would rat him out to the police because he owned a lot of guns and could be a threat. And when the guy was shocked that he would do that he asked him what he would feel if he got killed during it, and he said “oh I would feel bad but you wouldn’t be able to hurt other people”.
I've been shortening my friend pool more and more over the last few years until I barely have anyone left, and I'm already considering cutting ties to a couple of the people still left when this whole business is finally done and over with, no matter how it shakes out.
